Barbarian's Damage over time skills

I feel like our barb skills such as Firestorm and Garrotte have fell off in skill wise. I think it would be good to give the Bleeds and Fire Damage a boost Maybe the Damage of the Bleeds and Fire Damage based on Str or Vit

Firestorm and Garrotte are both based on physical damage, and therefore ARE based on str.
DoT spells aren't supposed to be hugely damaging, the point is the damage is spread out so that they can stack as you can beat the charm tick, or to go around def levels. Neither of them are fantastically efficient, but they're not supposed to be. The same problem exists with ALL DoTs.xSonOfCircex-105/103/102 Sage Wiz

You sir, obviously don't know much about Seekers. Edged Blur is insanely damaging, is magic (metal) based, and is easily coupled with Void Step and Heart Shatter. Edged Blur is a DOT attack, and is an AoE skill.
I feel that other classes with DOT skills need a bit of a boost to the damage they give over the set time. Don't make them OP, but let us do a lil more damage with them.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Well if barbs need boost in DoT damage id say do same with BMs or all classes with weak DoT. Assassins get some nasty DoTs and other classes as well. For example if i use BMs draw blood on any normal gears (Not super high) it;d tick like 50 HP a time which would do well nothing. Now say you do a Psy DoT it'll tick 1ks depending on target (AA/HA/LA).
So overall some classes need a boost in DoT damage but not like SUPER boost where half one person HP is gone with it.101 Blademaster(Pro/Fail 4.0 BM with 11k base HP+G16(+10))
