Faction Icons Issue [4-4-2013]

Hey everyone,

As you all know, we had an issue with our last patch on 4/3, which resulted in the Faction icons getting scrambled.

Our team is fully aware of the issue, and we anticipate getting it fixed with our next maintenance.

I apologize for any inconvenience, and we'll do our best not to let this happen again.

In the meantime, have fun guessing whose faction icon you now have!

    With TW this weekend, when a faction wins one of the PvE territories, will it show the real faction icon on the land or their new random one?

    Dont know if it helps to solve the problem but with german client that problem seems not to exist.

    Quick question about the icon glitch.

    On our server people are saying that if a faction wants their icon back the leader has to request it, but if the faction that currently has it does not want to give it back then we lose the icon. Any truth in this?

    If we do have to request the icon back do we submit a ticket or can we just reload it with the icon submission page?

    OFC people aren't going to be able to just keep your icon, where do people come up with these rumors? xD As Hey, You!'s op states, it will (hopefully) be fixed next maintenance.

    Ok thanks. I had a feeling it wasn't true, but I just wanted to make sure. I spent a lot of time making our icon and did not want to risk losing it in case I missed an updated post or something.

    I don't think icons are AI yet... but they will get fixed. As it says on the first page.

    There is no achievement for posting the most in these forums (or then, I'd be a serious forums addict... or not!)

    As for the faction icons swapping, I did feel it was an intended April's Fools joke (which would make up for the lack of joke in the news part of the website back then). I guess it grew old and there is the need to have it changed next maintenance indeed.
