A Faction Dedicated to Newbie BHs (29-59) and Quests?

Maybe it's the nostalgia talking. We did just have an FC-less week and all. I'm just wondering if there's anything left of gameplay going on at newbie levels within factions.

If there's a whole faction dedicated to it, I will join you and love you forever. b:cute

    Well, Khalasar used to do that when we had lower level toons in guild. In fact most of the officers made alts just to run with new players so that runs would be level appropriate and not just blown through by one person's high level main. Those were the days.....but we had a faction meltdown and only a few remain - mostly founders that are high level. We have not done anything like that in quite some time, sadly....

    Actually I was feeling nostalgic too and made my own faction last night. We're up to almost 20 members already, and it's all based on low levels (not completely). We still do fc's/bh's/fb's/TT's and what not but it's a faction like the old ones used to be. Me and the director have already come up with some contest to help out new players get some equip/coin/mounts ect. We're planning on weekly contest. I can't wait for us to grow alittle :D. We allow any levels to join and me as the leader, I'm focusing on mainly the lower levels. Try and help the new people to the game enjoy it and have fun/ stay. But yeah there's my speal lol. If you want to join just pm me in game "_Wade_". And if not that's cool too.

    Wade, I think what you are doing is fantastic! I hope you enjoy great success. It is really tough for lower levels on DW - the majority of toons are alts of high levels. Those few who are mains just have almost no one to party/squad with to even do their BH's and Fb's. If you ever need a hand filling out a squad I probably have something in the right level range - feel free to pm me in game anytime :)

    I like what you guys are intending, but if I may give a little advice? I am a Marshal & Co-Founder of Zion, and we have been around almost since the beginning of DW. We too tried recruiting the lower levels, helped them with all the FBs, Culti's, Hero Bosses, answered questions, gave them descent 3* gear, even helped them get their TT60 weapon, we even had contests with Boutique Prizes... All in hopes they would appreciate the help and continue to level up with us into the super high levels. Unfortunately, it didn't work out as we had planned, many left as soon as they felt "trained" enough for one of the bigger factions; others quit playing altogether. The interest just wasn't there.

    The game is as you say, most "new" players are the alts of high levels, and those that aren't don't have much of a chance to enjoy the game they way we did at the start. PWI has added and taken away many features that has changed game play forever, and recruiting has come to almost a complete standstill no matter what level bracket you are looking for.

    Zion, is in fact looking to create a merger with either a few smaller factions or one larger one who is willing to absorb our active members; which, unfortunately only numbers in the 20s. We are ultimately looking for more high levels so that we can enjoy the "end game" with each other, but also want to keep true to Zion's roots and still help the lower levels as well. If either of you would like to merge with us, we gladly welcome you with open arms. We are already level 3, and that could save you time and coin instead of trying to advance your new factions.     I'm new to the whole Guild thing...actually, fairly new to the whole MMO thing, but I've got a small guild which mostly focuses on quests. Or rather, we would focus on quests if the other four members of the Keyblades were actually online a decent amount! Anyway, yeah, we're a tiny guild, and we'll totally help new players out! We'll accept just about anyone we can, but as of yet we're still tier one, so we can't take in everybody. If you decide to opt-out, let your friends know we exist! We desperately need new members! b:laugh
