PLEASE, do not bash any faction in this thread.

I am currently in several factions on Sanctuary. I tend to play different characters on different days, usually I play one class then move on for a bit until I want to go back. So, I might play my Barb one day, then my Archer the next. Or even my Barb and archer in one day. Since I tend to level characters in small groups (see my Psy, Wiz, Mystic, Seeker in my sig), I have lot of similar level characters to play.

I play for fun. I don't do a lot of open world PK. I do like TW and NW, I've done theater and had fun at that too.

Moving into one of the top tier factions is my goal right now. However, I have a lot of friends in some of the factions I am in, and I know that one of them is on Leg's 'no alts' list, and because of that, there is a chance that I will never even apply to Leg. Add in the fact that all of my friends from Leg have quit or only play for NW/TW on occasion, I don't know if I would even feel welcome there.

I've been encouraged to join Regi. I have enjoyed TWing against Regi in the past, so it just would come down to a no alts factions list.

Enely and I do not get along. So, I don't think I will apply here. *Edited to follow my own request, hah, silly me*

Vindi. This is the faction that everyone either loves, or loves to hate. Some of the biggest names in the entire game live here (Yeah, Astrelle, that's you). I have done BH's and other PVE stuff with Vindi people and lately, they have all been nice, even to lesser geared players or people just needing help. I also know that all of the factions I'm in are on the 'allowed alts' list for Vindi.

So, should I stick with the factions I'm in, or should I apply to Regi/Vindi? I'm not interested in being the best of the best, just making new friends and having some fun, and maybe doing a little more TW.

    Unless any of those are a concern (which I'm guessing they're not from the OP) alt factions shouldn't be an issue.

    Obviously as one of the officers in charge of handling applications I'm gonna say regi is awesome and everyone and everyone should apply and we have bacon and cookies and stuff f:money

    However, I do think it's important for you to consider what you want in a faction, especially in TWs (since all the factions you've considered or mentioned are TW oriented)

    Regi doesn't pick easy TWs and we're not afraid to attack someone we think we have a good chance of losing to just because we're afraid of losing. We'd rather have a fun 2 hour loss than a 15 minute win. Whether Vindi wants good TWs or not where they really need to fight hard to win, I don't think they have any options that will get them a good one.
