Hi all,

I was happily doing my Jolly Jones quests (the ones that are supposed to compensate for the DQ nerfing), when I got the Perfect Punica Flesh quest.

I was really happy to end with it as it is the easiest of all three (I am tired of having to dive around the Dragonet, in fear of having my rear bitten by the serpentine pink dragon -it needs to chill out, by the way- or forcing myself to bash the two-headed snakes).

And so, I try my hand at the grinding machine, a few times in a row... "What gives? Is it like the slot machines now -and dare I say, our "wonderful" packs-?", I wonder.
Then a nice female cleric tells me the quest is bugged since maintenance. What dreadful news.

I tried just again tonight, no luck either. It seems other PWI players are affected too.
I ended trashing the quest.

Serious loss of coins there... Is there a way for that quest to be repaired soon? I am beginning to fear that instead of saying to myself "Yay, the easy quest!!" I'll go "Oh no, here is the cursed quest again! *mumble mumble*" for a long while.
But again, I am guessing that each time we got a new patch, more random mess is caused. b:surrender

Any other testimonies around here? Oh and please keep it classy. Thanks!

    I don't know about other servers but on Santuary, The Grinding Machine is outside the City of the Lost ONLY, near the Jolly npc, and this mission is not bugged .Sometimes i get it 3 times in a row but sometimes i do get the "dragonet visit" mission too.This is very risky , once the dragonet aggroed me while diving to 17 altitude,started a debuff on me then attacked me with something like a rain skill, took me half of HP in 1 hit,luckily i'm charmed and didn't killed me, i managed to escape fast.
    Once i saw that dragonet swimming in the air above the lake lol b:laugh

    Players above 70+ (or 75) i suggest to pick up the daily jolly coin quests only from the Northern Pass (outside lost city),you can get by chance more than 2 times in a row to farm that Grinding Machine, in this way ppl wont be needed to fly/teleport from plume(or etherblade) to lost city just for the Grinding Machine mission and it is much closer to the Dragonet's lake too..

    Make sure you have 3 slots open in your inventory, required for the Grinding Machine items quest.

    The maintenance before this one it actually started working and I was able to clear it fine with alts, I personally wasn't getting any failed attempts. After this past maintenance we just had, it doesn't work again at all. Just an endless string of failed attempts b:surrender

    To CRYSTY: Not bugged? Lucky you...
    As for the dragonet quest (I mock that one saying it's a PINK serpentine -Chinese- dragon), I found a way to not draw its attention.
    Don't land in the middle of the lake as indicated but do it on the north part of the lake, about in the middle of the upper-left side (the cliff is on a 45 degrees angle), then dive until you reach 17 of depth indeed.
    Lost City is indeed the best place to start quests. I thought the place you choose to do it will determine the quests you'll have (I tried it on different days and got a majority of different results), but I really think it is random after all.

    I'm thinking they fixed it last maintenance ... I just hadn't tried it right away. I know for me the quest has been fine again, no idea what will happen with this next maintenance though

    Indeed it has been fixed since last maintenance... I am really happy about it.
    Time to recover more of the millions I spent recently on durable items...

    The advanced grinding machine quest which has been working on RT for last two weeks is back to broken after tonight's maintenance.

    im from Raging tide server and its same issue as the other servers i guess the advanced grinding machine stopped working properly it shoud give me perfect tunica fruits wich before patch update i was getting 3/3 from 1st three times and now i keep getting rough flesh wich it says its a unsuccesfully operation
