every time i run the game, it starts up then it says "verifying client version" and then a message box appears saying: "patcher.exe has detected a problem and must close down."
ahd then shows 2 options: "send error"(or something like that) or "don't send".
what can i do?

For your specific issue, without details on any part of your system, I am at a loss to help you. I don't see why you guys don't think to post your system information when you start these threads.
It's not hard, and if you aren't computer savvy, Google is your friend, you just have to make an attempt.
Here's what we need to help you...
Operating System Information
System Specifications (I recommend Speccy)
Security Software. (No link here, you're going to have to use your head on this one.)
A DxDiag.txt log file.
In some cases a HiJackThis log is also helpful.
If the issue is related to lag or DC'ing, post a copy of a traceroute to the server. (take it at the time that you are having a problem, not when you aren't having issues.)
Also, if you are having trouble with lag or DC'ing, post specifics about how your computer is connected in your home, and details on your ISP connection. (If you don't know, ask your parent.)
Before you post, actually look at the forum. There's a thread titled, "READ HERE FIRST for Tech Support Issues!". If half of you read it, you wouldn't be posting.
Don't forget to search the forums to see if anyone has had the issue before and resolved it. You would be surprised at how many times I answer the same damn question over and over and over and over and over.... Kinda like the OP's post, I am constantly asking for more information. So much that I'll now copy this post and just keep re-using it.
Good Luckb:kiss
(In most cases, a link to a published Speccy report and a copy of your dxdiag output is the minimum amount of information required to even begin to work on solving an issue.)Take the time to look for your answer before you post like an idiot.

There are those who panic,

Looks very stressed, may be this job is not for you.
Whether this is your job or a hobby you have no rights to call a confused person an idiot.
They don’t have to search through hundreds of trolling posts for the answer if they don’t want to.
I strongly recommend to rephrase your sentence and dispose of the strong word.[SIGPIC]C:\Documents and Settings\Nick\Desktop\pwi[/SIGPIC]0 -

Same... I cant help but feel like forum tech support isnt very friendly...
I have a lag issue and after being unable to find helpful posts, I made a thread. Im not sure if the guy is Monotoned and not intentionally coming off as agresive, or thinks everyone should know how to make these highly detailed posts.. nonetheless attempting to give the info asked for... We cant ALL be tech savy...0 -
i posted in the thread that seemed relevantto my issue, but nothing seems to be getting done. so sorry if this is the wrong thread, but im trying to get some kind of assistance so i can play the game again. Try to open updater, either doesnt pop up or if it does, says Client running, Cannot Update. Or, if i get the login screen to pop up, it only shows a blank screen for servers, with no servers to be seen. so long story short, i cannot get into the game, when i could just fine yesterday. And i just got mymain to 70, so id very much like to be able to play again. Somebody plz help! Or, if its PWE, then FIX your issues!0

Im no forum support agent (but hey, they dont seem very helpful in my honest opinion, least not the ones Ive run across)
If you like, and have the patience for it. Try this-
1. uninstalling your game completely.
2. Also delete the games file folders (I hope you know your default location)
You know when you download something and it asks you where you want to save the file/folder? That's where you need to look to find and delete the folder.
3. After uninstalling and deleting that folder. Restart your computer.
4. THEN after restarting your computer you want to reinstall the game.
5. Run the file verifications when prompted.
After you download, do the file verification EVERY time it asks if you would like to do one. I think it asks at 3 different points, and the process is only a minute or two long.
I know this sounds like a lot to do but its not, im just really wordy
It sounds to me like its possibly a corrupt file problem. So doing the uninstall, file delete and restart should fix it.0 -
