FCC Goon XP Suggestion/s

Hello, obviously people remember the rage and QQ about goons when they were exploited in FC, then more QQ due to the fact the xp was reduced for them, rendering full FC next to useless. Hardly anyone does full runs anymore. maybe once in a blue moon players will do it for the sincerity chest.
Since V4liant has hinted at us getting a few changes to FC down the line, i was thinking of ways that could return goons to full exp without the return of gooners. so far i think the simplest way would be editing the value's at wich the dragoons spawn from jail boss. currently the first hit you make on the boss spawns one, wich causes people to be able to reset the boss and DoT it with skills like poison or other spells to hit several times spawning dozens of them at once.
Perhaps u can reduce it to 75% or 60% for the first goon to spawn, wich would put an end to the exploit and give the EXP back.
Constructive criticism and feed back welcome~

I voted yes although it needs more finetuning. But that is an unneeded statement, any suggestion we can think of needs more finetuning, testing and all that. But i like the idea.0

ty! and your right it will take work to get it to be where its good enough to implement if ever. we need others inputs and idea's as well on what else can be done. fc was one of my favorite instances, i remember meeting holeen the first time xD. its sad that we lost a lot of stuff from it (gold mats, quite a bit of exp, etc)0 -
I've thought of this myself to be honest, and there are several ways to go about something like this.
- First off, look at what happens when someone (Using a wall ****) attempts to leave the "game map". You get a message, appearing as a system message, which is visible to all players, saying something like "Player X is cheating! Please report him". Now if they could find a way to make this kind of message appear if someone attempts to spawn goons in such a manner, then I can guarantee someone would report him.
- Find a way to make it so jail boss doesn't spawn goons at all, instead adding another group of them at the end of the instance, near the others.
These are just the two ideas that came from the top of my head, and I'm sure I can think of others. Just some ideas to leave you to think about, feel free to elaborate on them more, or build off of them.
I do agree that it would encourage more people, including newbie squads to do full FC more often, as it really is a great learning experience for new players. There's a lot more challenge in those last 3 bosses, and great potential rewards for them as well, other than just good experience. Please PWI, bring this back. b:victory[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 - First off, look at what happens when someone (Using a wall ****) attempts to leave the "game map". lol if its brought back u won't be able to do this. it would make it near impossible to spawn so many dragoons if they make them spawn at a lower hp then full health. in the end it would be more work then what its worth to exploit.
@system message idea: that is a pretty good idea, although the way the wall hacking works and how dragoons spawn are vastly different. the system message from the hacking is caused by a player falling into a red zone wich tells the server there out of bounds. if something would be implemented for dragoons it would most likely create a lot of false positives. they could completely remove the dragoons from that boss tho. that would be fairly simple. and add 2 more at the end0 -

Just change the mob from a goon at the jail boss to a different, low xp mob. Then restore the goons to their regular xp and it's solved.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

sorry to correct u but even with the the reduced exp on goons i still get twice exp room's exp from last 3 bosses so no it is not useless0 -

I agree. Switching the mobs that spawn from jail boss would be good too. Likely though, they would just be removed altogether.
Good thread altogether. Very productive, and with a good goal in mind. Keep up the good work guys! b:victory[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
How about just replacing the goons in the last part of fc with those Broadblade runners ( I think that's what they're called)?0

Wow i'm surprised this is getting such positive feedback. i expected it to be shot down in a few days xD.
@swapping the goons with a different mob: that could work if played right. i don't want to see them get stupid and just swap the goons with something else and let the glitch repeat. to effectively eliminate it it needs to have the hp threshold wich it spawns dragoons for the first time lowered below full health.
the lazy fix is to leave goons and just change the mobs after Oceana from dragoons to another high exp mob.0
