New True Form Sprite?

Howdy folks,

Last I recall my panda barbarian would morph into a white tiger. Now I see a screen shot on Facebook showing a panda on an untamed flyer... Are they actually changing the sprites? I have not played in a little over ten months so pardon me for being behind the times...

If they are actually changing it, I might have to come back and check it out.

    tl;dr version:

    Barbs are getting a new form to use, called "Panda Form" for now, unless the update has a different official name for it.

    You gain 1 new buff from it which increases your accuracy by 300%, and Defense Levels by 40 for 1 minute. No idea on cool down and what other things you can do in Panda Form.

    I cannot wait for this update though. :(

    Never understood why panda was even included as a Trueform other than its kind of sterotypical 'asian.' Its almost racist, but whatever. "We have a chinese game. It needs 98% more panda's."

    Tiger-viscious, Lion-ferocious, Wolf-frightening, Panda-Circus Bear.

    The personality type of the people who tend to play panda's are the jokers and the jokes. People who think its funny to be a more odd animal. Attention seekers. Not all of them, but thats the sterotype.

    And then whats the one class PWI decides to focus on for barb Trueform? Pandas =/
    Can't say I'm not looking forward to new skills but wish I didn't have to be a panda.

    The new skill sounds awesome and all but id prefer if a wolf barb transformed into a wolf and a lion transformed into a lion etc.

    I thought they were cute when I was about 8 but then I saw a nature show where pandas mated and it was like a violent **** scene followed by the male pushing the female down a hill. Ever since then they've been kind of...less magical.

    To be fair, everyone who was whining about having a separate form for each barb animal for years now would tell you to stop QQing. :P

    That being said, my barb's entire name revolves around the concept of a lion changing into a tiger, so the panda form might **** that up a bit. Oh, well. Things change, right? And the name was a joke because the character was originally a joke character to begin with.

    Also, lol @ the use of the word "sprite." Makes me wonder what a 2d, SNES-era version of PWI would look/play like. o.o

    Wait.. the Tankster is confused. Is it a new Sprite? Or is it a new skill, because if it takes away True form then I'd be pissed, cause I do love Demon True Form. Nonetheless, I am looking forward to running around as a Panda.

    It's a separate transformation with both a Sage and Demon version that give the same stat boosts, like Sage form will give 40% more HP while Demon will give 30%.

    I don't understand why Sage barbs run faster than Demon ones... ; - ;

    Anyway.. 5% crit increase for 6 seconds? We already have Demon Titans and Onslaught... and I doubt it will stack since crit buffs do not stack... unless it works like Demon Shapeshift...?

    I wish they'd change the Titans buff to be an (over-writable) AoE Wolf Emblem type buff... maybe 10-20% increase for 60s. Using that plus Demon Onslaught and Sunder combos would be awesome, and I hate when I need to rebuff and then I can't use Demon Sunder's crit. /demon barb problems

    Edit: Ew, apparently Sage Panda Form is encroaching on Demon barb advantages, such as quick chi building sans Bestial Rage and no damage reduction, but with a 40% HP increase... I think it has been previously discussed that the damage reduction isn't that huge, but it's still part of the balance between the two cultivation paths. Hm.. instead of changing Titans, maybe Demon Panda form could have a 30s Wolf Emblem buff for 30% increased crit damage.. heh.

    I'm starting to think the Demon attribute is spot on, but the Sage chi gain is a bit broken... Bestial Rage on cooldown? Not getting hit enough by enemies? Just instant-cast switch between forms without even having to stop running...
