I'm sitting here chatting with an old pwi friend and we realize we have no idea how to play the game we once slaved over anymore. We will always remember how to work our beloved classes but it is everythign else we are puzzled over.

Some of the things we are curious about:

What is a nation war?

What is this talk of 3rd casts?

What factions are still in reign?

Who is still playing?

And last but not least, can we still farm money or is the economy completely shot?

If anyone wants to fill us in, we'd be much appreciative. We really lost touch with everything to move on to much greater things but we'll always have a secret place in our hearts for beloved Raging Tides.

    Group PVP - up to 20 vs 20 capture the flag style fights - rewards for contribution = raps, cannies, items to recast R9 ring, cube neck, sky cover/cloud stir, SOT tomes, warsoul mats etc.

    loads of 3rd casts because its so easy to get raps and cannies and they're so cheap (~20/100k)

    Nw is what bhavy said.. 3rd cast means u can recast ur r9 twice..and factions are prtty much what bhavy said.. anf economy is totally shot.. u can still farm but 3x slower

    u can farm nation wars .. if ur in a pro sqd with pro pvp skills .. ull be fine and farming is easyb:cute

    With NW you can farm more in 2 hours than most people could farm in a week.

    So while actual farming "slowed" a lot... the speed of actually getting gear has increased tremendously.

    For example, you can get the raps/cannies to make a complete T2 nirvy-set in one or two weekends of good NW rewards. (4-8 hours playtime)

    Even a poor NW (2 hours) will can still easily net you 500 uncannies. It's kinda silly.

    Most people usually get 50-175 tokens on a average night.

    I can only speak from personal experience. I've never gotten under 120, but I know some people do of course. I assume most people can get 100, since we've had lvl 100 R8+4s in our squad get over 150. So even ungeared people can be successful.

    My personal token range is from 120 -> 476... with an average around 280 per NW. I know I'm not the same as everyone, but I don't think saying many people get around 100 tokens per NW is particularly misleading.

    Either way. 1000 uncannies per weekend is a ton more than most people could farm in 2-3 weeks before NW came about.

    It helps if you begin a new line when speaking to Sweetiebot or she won't respond.

    You fight different nations, and earn points, more points more supply tokens. "Kill or be killed"

    umm well nobody does nirvanna's no more to my knowledge, some people still do bh's to earn money and like nw sell there token's for coins.

    Everything seems to be answered.

    Other awards you can get along with NW is R8r materials, Warsoul materials (which makes Warsoul weapons magnitudes cheaper, and Cube necklaces farmable), and upgrades to all kinds of end-game gear.

    Vicious is the powerhouse at the moment.

    I think u can catch up easy. I mean archer is really good in NW. Beside, u still can farm easy. Many people want to choose t3 nirvana, thats why farming TT is sexy atm. ribbon from 3-1 u can sell like 1,5 mills each and other mats :)

    Bellefleurs, I can speak from experience and with kinda-sorta having an idea of your character's gears and your play skills... Arawin is right... you should be able to get, I'd say about 30-ish+/- at the very low end to as much as 140-ish+/- per 2 hour nation war if you go it alone... I'm sure you still have friends though, so squading could easily yield you and extra +100 at the top end... depending on how "OP" they are, and how well you all work together.

    It's definitely worth it to upgrade gears, or reroll r8r gears... or maybe you always wanted the warsoul weapon for yucks? ...or it's recasted version (which although does not have a reroll on it atm, that is coming soon enough too).

    T3 is a farmable OP Gear that makes poeple harder to kill whit good ADDs
