So often that I'm out and about just standing with character distance down and HUD off and everything, I'm just thinking how easy it would be for someone to sneak up and kill me. Most of the time they wouldn't even need to sneak, I still wouldn't see them! I get frustrated enough during NW when I wanna take some scenery screens there - have to wait til its one of those 20 vs 0 matches so I can walk around on my own without fear of someone interrupting b:chuckle

Shikokyoshou's Night
Loneliness
In this chapter Shiko will play a different role.

'I'm glad it's over now and I could return. I don't like my quests. I prefer staying here...on the islands.'
After her arrival in Dragonfang Village Shiko decided to spend some time in the nature...the nature that she's part of. She took small steps close to the water. It all seemed one huge mirror, which reflects only the truth. The Moon looked down from the sky, to the water. The sand she was walking on felt soft. The calm waves were inviting the tideborns to swim. But this day was quiet.
The walk turned into running.

Shiko ran through the grass...but where she was heading to?

Shiko took slow paces towards a little pond surrounded by crystals and coralls. For others it wasn't anything special, but for Shiko this place meant the perfect harmony.

She felt the air lifting her up and turning her into a mermaid. It's a normal thing called meditate...but for Shiko it's different.

Shiko's soul consumed the bubble aura...

And turned her back to the normal form.

But her fighting clothes disappeared and changed to a white dress.

She closed her eyes and started to dance on the water...

And her dance on the water was graceful.

But what is this?

Elements

'Ah this crown again. Why does it always have to be here?!' When this transformation happens to Shiko a crown appears on her head. 'I wish I could just give up this power.'
There are things Shiko doesn't really like to share. The Elders say that she's blessed to be a princess who can learn to control the five elements and become a tideborn queen. However Shiko doesn't like this idea. 'Luck I can't control them all now. I must find the way to get rid of this bless... if it's a bless, but for me it's just a curse.'

Shiko took off the crown and threw it away, but it just vanished in the air and never landed. 'I will never ever wear that crown!' Instead of it she put some ribbons in her hair. 'Hmm. Much better.'
She summoned her wings and descended close to the water. Her wings were just like two ice phoenixes.
'Why me?' - she thought. A teardrop shined under her eye. But before she could wipe it off, she noticed something weird.

'What?' She fell into the water, eventhough she can walk on it. Her wings changed shapes immediately underwater and looked like ice crystals.
'What's happening? The water's not even deep here.'
Shiko didn't know what's this, but she didn't really want to try thinking about it. There were enough mysteries already...

'A dungeon?' She tried to escape, but her blood technique wasn't enough.

'I'll need the inner light it seems...'

She walked around to see if there's a different way. The place reminded her of a castle. She had bad feelings about that it might have a connect with the crown. 'I better get out of here!' She performed a light spell that broke a shield.

Shiko only heard something break, but the next thing she saw was the sky and the Moon.

It takes energy to perform it and Shiko knew that right. She tried to find the way back, but it was pretty dark at the place where she landed.

'Another reason to love my daggers. They can glow!'

Wings

Shiko flew back to Dragonfang Village. 'What an exhausting long way.' She walked back to the waterfall. 'Sure I won't step on that water again!' Shiko tried to relax herself on her special way. She creates sparkles around her like wings and dances in the air. It happens that her demon fairy joins too.

'Isn't it fun my little devil?'

Oh my gosh... It turned out really meh! In my head it looked better, but tbh this didn't really come from sense, like others. I was thinking a lot, but that might be because I wrote it with a super tired sleepy head. e.e Sooo only look at screenies and ignore the text. XD Supa fail!~ \o/ It was kinda rushed.

(Each time I wrote transformation it reminded me of a transformer. Dayum Physics test

<) I really need to do something aweshum after this failure to make it look less boring. Or rewrite it. Or dunno. Dx I need to sleep now that's it! Goodnight. ;_;

I...actually like this one the best so far. Though there is definitely a certain intrigue to your other story about the tideborn princesses. I'm just a fan of spontaneous spots of story myself.

The shots are gorgeous, beautiful color editing, and I'm super jealous of her outfit and wings.

Thank you thank you! ^^ Yay glad to see you Shizu! =D Well, the wing 'trick' came totally random by an accident. xD I'm still testing how to time because you need patience for this. I just simply put on wings, and change them. She turns around and for 1 sec you see some light of the wings you originally had on. The sad part is that each wing change closes the F9 bar, so you have to set the angle again, again, again and again and again. e.e And if you can't catch it in the right moment, well then bleh. x.x I have action shots from my seeker. >.> I didn't remember they're so epic for fighting moves. *o* Will take more mwahahaha...soon. But I still have unedited ones. >.<

I can't tell you enough how much I love all the screens from the Shikokyoshou's Night series! I can't even quote one on it's own because they're all so lovely, definitely among the best you've done! The editing is perfect too, and the placement of the character in each shot is really nice ^^ The wing effect is pretty cool too, haven't seen anything quite like it before! And so jealous of all your different wings!

) Something's wrong with me or what. xD I thought the Shiko's Night story was the worst one I've ever written, but you all seem to like that the most. x33 Well, the more I waited the more and more ideas I got for my Mission of an assasin story. I'm having the lines in my head, but I'm not sure about the screenies yet.

But I promise once it's done I'll make it superb. >:o
I love trying out new "techniques". Fun part is that most of them come by accidents. x)

Aww such a cute pic, love how you did it! I really like the new veno Butterfly form, not too sure on the Panda yet... No comment by me.... at this moment.... can possibly describe what I've just experienced. The sheer beauty, attention to detail, stunning character placement. I cannot. Shikokyoshou's Night felt so poetic - damn! I love it! The dance on the water shots are just breathtaking, but so is the rest of them. Such a beautiful story. Seriously, I'm breathless! b:chuckle And so happy! Can we look forward to a sequel? xD

And the Untamed Love b:laugh I personally love the new forms, both the Panda and the Fox. Eventhough I'd have to wait a while to get Skylenne one, I already can't wait to try it out for myself b:pleased And I love what you've done with it, it looks like a cute Valentine postcard xD

Hello. c: It's been a month almost since I posted anything and lately I haven't been on the forums so much... like not at all. XD I planned a bunch of things to do but I've been awfully busy lately. =.= I still have shots that I took 1-2 months ago but didn't edit them. x.x I though I'd quickly get something together so I won't necro my own thread. @.@ (And gosh I drew sketches for my brilliantly ignored drawing thread, but I lost them all. ;-; *le facepalm*) So, to post some stuffs...
