New PVP instance

Now I know there is a new PVP instance with the release of Sirens of War, but I my idea is a little bit different. Well to start of, the instance would be once a week and will have an entry fee of say at least 1mil, I dunno. The PVP will be like a tournament style where players are placed in random brackets. Should be a 1v1 type of tournament but it can have other options like 2v2, 3v3, and so on. The thing that makes my idea different from the actual PVP that is in game is that my idea has the NPC gives the player gear. Of course the gear has to be equal in all classes to make the fight fair, it's up to the PWE to balance out the weapons and armors for this and make sure the armor are equally good. The NPC gives the player a choice of the armor that they would like to use because not everyone is wearing common armor; some people use unorthodox gear to play. I see this type of PVP more of who is the better skilled player rather than just who has the better gear. Of course some people have better skills because they have upgraded their skills which factors in this. The reward for winning the tournament should be something like 5mil so it isn't really a huge reward, but people can then see who the actually better skilled player is. It also gives people a chance to try PVP with equal gear to their opponent and plus it can be a huge coin sink if a lot of people want to see who is the best player on their server.

    Here's the problem with equal gear pvp.
    Seekers will always win because they have the best buff.

    My old faction and I used to pvp using only grade 4 gear no tomes no blessing. Every single time, no matter how skilled the opposition was, the seekers always came out on top. And the arcanes sucked especially psychics because they have no pdef buff but in return they have a refine based buff that is meaningless with standard unrefined npc gear. We were all 100+.

    The only fair pvp is one with the same class. There's no way to balance the game so the dev does it in stages. First it was veno with nix bleed, then it was sins, now it's purify spell.

    Well as I pictured it, the whole set the NPC would give would be +12 and the choice of your own stones for the gear. but the problem I see with that is people that don't have comparable gear would be like "well my gear sucks in compared to that, what's the point of playing if blah blah..." or it could have the opposite effect where the player is optimistic about getting gear that is as good or better.

    I was afraid of that, haven't been here long enough to have went through all that. Though I am witnessing the power of purify spell, especially in NW.
