Needs some advice please

im too poor IRL to ever afford R9 and unable to do NW to get G16 vana cause i work on weekend always.

need some advice if i should get the morai g15 set or just continue with my current gear.

    Do you plan on doing PVP at all? If so, don't go with morai gear.



    Dunno why you'd roll an archer just to PVE though...

    What is your budget like?

    Full G15 Morai set, armor [30.4m] & wep [16.8m], will run you 47.2m. You'll have slightly less base defense, but your Warding Levels should make up for it. Only thing is, as an archer, you should rarely be hit in PvE. http://pwcalc.com/3631e5c0050a36c6

    For a little less than 70m, you can pick up a cheap TT99 bow [found a couple in AH for around 5m] and G16 NV it for around 62.5m [on Lost City, Raptures are around 250k each]. The last boss in full WS, Vile: The Incacerate, always drops one Essence of Offense along with 2 weapon molds [R9 or NV]. Just keep doing full WS and you should eventually get a bow or sling mold once you have enough badges. http://pwcalc.com/16f4a88d0d95bdc6

    For the ornaments, if you can't get TT99 HA ornaments, try to complete OHT Map 4 and get either Guard of Thundershock [physical] or Paradise Satchet [magic] to replace your belt. This will require you to finish two, if I recall correctly, full GV's and a bunch of TT bosses.

    You want at least 6k HP. Put some shards in your boots.

    the morai gear just really caught my attention lol cause the price(coin) is cheap and i heard that it was on par with R9 (not the full R9 set) when it comes to mobs.

    really appreciate your help, if you got anymore ideas please dont hesitate to infom meb:pleased

    Morai gear is not bad. Getting just the bow is fine. The bow is a bit under-appreciated, by if you're just doing PvE, it works.

    If you don't want to spend the coin for S3 (R9 or Nirvana), you can consider making a claw / fist build. You already have R8, so it's a matter of getting TT99 LA wrists / boots, TT99 HA neck / belt, and some fist / claws. Are you sage or demon? This will determine how much -interval you need on your fist / claws, and whether or not you need a -interval Tome or -interval Leggings.

    Fists / Claws make your archer more flexible. The fad has faded a bit, I think, but admittedly I rarely squad with randoms nowadays. You will need to work on your refines a bit to get above the 6k HP mark.

    Why not go for nirvy g15? If you save up your coin, you should be able to get the whole set in due time. Then if you ever have free time in the future, you could go for g16 nirvy. If you want a reference, here is my current build:

    This IS a bit more expensive than morai g15, but the advantage is that nirvy g15 is not a dead-end set, while morai g15 is. Also, attack and defense levels beat slaying/warding levels any day.

    You could also go for r8 recast, but this is probably one of the more expensive and frustrating paths you could take (rerolling for better stats ARGHH).

    One last thing, you also might notice that my attack rate is lower than yours (.74 vs .87). This problem is solved by switching over to the r8 chest and interval cape, making fist/claws still an option. I'm demon, so 5 aps is still achievable with my current build.

    OP: The first thing you need to understand is that you're just fine in PVE the way you are. In fact, you didn't even need the R8. Here's a quick Morai build using your existing stats and most of your current ornaments which acheives 6k HP with just +3 refines. Personally, I'm a big fan of HP bonuses on morai weps (or nirv weps), but you can swap out the bow's stats for anything you like. I just put Vit and Dex on it for a basic version.

    I know that he is pve-oriented, but isn't it better to get a more flexible set, in case he ever changes his mind? Morai g15 is great for fulfilling his purpose, but nirvy g15 will do that and more. It's farm-able and is worth the trouble. I'm just offering the OP some options.

    Fair enough, but to call Morai a "dead end" strongly implies a bias that's inconsistent with what the OP asked for.

    I'm all for options. He could PVE with tt99 or even 90 green and still be good. There are all kinds of PVE-capable options out there that people never bother to explore. I'm not knocking G15 Nirv, in fact I'm looking into it myself, but it's such a fad now that people treat it like it's the only option. :P

    It's a little bit more complicated. Assuming he already has a Jone's Blessing (30 attack leves), Slaying Levels can be more than Attack Levels b/c Slaying Levels are multiplicative with existing Attack Levels.

    As for Fist / Claw build being more expensive, by the time you farm the bow (3 months), you should have more coin. Or you can just make an Assassin and farm with that.
