As I am one of the top Wizards on RT and a really damn good one, I'd like to share with you guys some of my tips and tricks what I use in this wonderful game.

I must state that I am full R9.3 recast, jaded, +12 all items so my gameplay might be different than yours.

Also, I've attended many TWs in my time, playing the game for more than 3 year so I know what I'm talking about,

I am decent in PK, very good in TW, good in NW but improving still.

One man said...no day without learning something new.

I am a demon wizard so I tend to use more disabling spells than my counterparts the sage wizards.

Tip 1. If you have an OP squad, get a personal cleric in TW.

You might wonder why? Because having a personal cleric improves your survivability by at least 75%. This way, you stay in battle more and kill more.

A wizard is a killing machine. In TW, I kill alot and also I take alot of heat from my teammates while ofc the enemy is trying to kill me.

A personal cleric can jump and purify instantly, can rebuff immediately after an archer purge and he is a great asset for team work!

Hope this helps and bring some more of your own if you decide to share.

lol well ty for starting a discussion spell_caster, i always appreciate people who make videos regardless of how entertaining/quality of play (if i dont like i dont watch it), it takes time n effort to make vids so thanks. (though i do think some of you're earlier tips are kinda b:chuckle, p.s. AFA does not override HF/block it)

lets try to make this something marginally useful.

    1. every class has at least 3 anti stun skills, 3 spark, 2 spark, 1 spark (<--hard timing). is it justified? rarely but dont complain that you dont have anti stun :D

    2. when to ds/timing range. often time we use DS to get in or get out (uhm duh?) but alot of times i see people use it too early (esp for getting out) example, at mid range archer just woged and willsurge or your fow on CD, at this point alot of wizards instanlty DS opposite direction, it is better to wait for archer to begin channeling stunning arrow (which most of them will pick) and then DS out of range versus DSing out of range at the beginning (though it may not make much difference it CAN depending on exact timings etc.)

    3. canceling. despite being chan build wizards power (asides from sutra/ztp instant chan) come from our relatively slow but high DPH/ability to 1 shot/bypass. our class can generate alot of pressure in 1v1, simply channeling an ulti or IP (or even d pyro if u a beast) "forces" our opponent to react/use defensive abilities like AD. as the caster your may always cancel your ability before losing spark/putting skill in CD

    4. get a gaming mouse for players who using macros, the macro functions work alot better then in game macros (though i cant think of any wizards who use macros ;))

    5. actually one (of the many) reasons why you should not use macros is that it prevents movement between skills. you are actually able to take short steps b/w each skill, you can also cast skill backwards (hailstorm/wotp) and from farther range (not by much) by taking these short steps in b/w and holding s. (this is useful if you think you may get immoblized and want to DS opposite way)

most of you posting here already know alot so point of this thread kinda unpointed or pointless D: but be nice mayb a noob come by and learn something

Excuse me? Since when are clerics your slaves? Self-confidence is a good thing but you are obviously having too much of it. If you want to give advices start with the ppl who believe you got skills. I think 99% of the server isn't interested in your **** any longer.

If you brag about yourself, nobody going to like you...

IMO the only videos I enjoy are androits (idk if spelled correctly). He is not geared like spell or mooo but he isn't under geared either.

Adroit is a pro wiz, way above my standards.

I am glad you enjoy his videos.
My advice: dont watch stuff that u do not enjoy!

@BreezeD...hun, you are so cute...but if you dont manage to kill people in TW, at least try to keep alive the people who are able to kill.

That is my 2 cents on it.

Personal cleric means that 80% of the time, the cleric makes sure his target(me) is buffed and if need be, purified. Of course he does buff and rezz rest of the squad but his main task is to keep me, the main DD, alive.

No, I'm not. A cleric and a personal mystic would be amazing. Salvation shield non stop, advance heals...omg...

Roll a mystic and dual client TW and be your own personal mystic!

    That'd be insane.

A.) how is having a dedicated healer considered a suggestion? lol that's so obvious it should maybe not need to be said? Like saying, "one way to regain health is to have a healer..." derp cuz this sounds like, instead of being a great wiz, you're playing a mediocre barb on the wrong class...

B.) Did you seriously just admit to cheating the game last year? lolol??b:shocked Wasn't cheating a permanently ban-able offense? (I didn't play for several years, ijs.

A personal EP is my favorite thing.

As for cheating, I dont know what you are talking about. I always respected T&C of the game. I only did what each instance allowed me to do.

I even have a video of me leveling up to 105 in FC doing goons. That was before the GMs decided to remove Xp from Dragoons.

    point 1. nice tips, :)

    maybe it is OT
but I really curious about it!
    Soporofic whisper

why it is 20 range? not 30 range?
    mean
I cant do soporofic -> ulti from far away b:chuckle

is it a must to do like these:

-seeing enemy from far away* -> approaching -> soporofic -> ulti
    or
-seeing enemy from far away* -> DS (into the range) -> soporofic -> ulti

and it's all about the correct timing when comboing DS->SopWhip-> ulti
or it will be all fail move
    b:shocked , wasting disable n DS cooldown
