Pet Timer Reset Question

Somewhere I read the respawn timers of rare pets change after a maintenance happens. Can anyone confirm this? Also can please tell me how it works? If im not wrong I read, the pets spawn something like 5 hours after maintenace, is it true?

OR if I last saw a rare pet 10 hours ago, will it still spawn at the same time on the following day? (Assuming a Maintenance took place in between). Thank you.

EDIT: I know this probably belongs to Venomancer sub-forums. But since everyone just checks General Discussion during maintenance days and since this question is related to maintenance (and also to world boss respawn timers), I decided to post it in here for a quicker response (hopefully)

    I used to just set up an alt blue name on separate client and let it sit there afk and watch the area's they respawn at timing kind of seems random to me though was easier to grind up coin for buying the pets from others in all honesty.

    The pet I'm trying to tame is Ancient Derjan Hatchling, which has a 24-48 hours respawn time and is untradeable.

    I happen to know the timing of when it spawned last. Sadly, there's a maintenance now. Therefore I dont know if it resets the respawn timers of rare pets. Any help will be appreciated.

    ah yea the one in morai idk never realy went for any other pets after I got herc/nix all other pets just turned to fodder for pulls in HH etc. Curious as to see what the new battle pets will be like however whenever we finally get the rest of the sirens of war update though. Even have given thought in to finishing my veno and making a HA g16 build with it.

    If I knew the answer I'd help. Sadly you cant expect the lazy fails in here that know the answer and have time to troll on maintenance thread with useless **** to up their post count, to help a player.

    My question is in relation to the respawn timers of rare pets with regards to maintenance days.
    I dont need info about the morai pet. However, ty tho :)

    After the server restarts it resets everything on the timers. The rare pets will spawn at their allocated time after the server starts back up, and then will spawn on their regular interval after they are tamed/killed.

    I haven't had time to go digging around in the 1.4.5/1.4.6 server files yet so I can't say if the Ancient Derjan Hatchling is any different from the other pets for the initial spawn time. For all of the other rare pets it is 5 hours after the server is brought back online. i.e If the server comes online at 1am, the pets will spawn at 6am.

    Not sure about that pet. Most of them have they're first spawn 5 hours after maitenance, then every 12 after capture. Only exception I know of is the snow hare.
