90+ weapons?

Ive recently made an archer and am 91. Im using the lvl 88 Windcatcher. Am I missing something, or is there really no better weapon for the next few levels. I note a few here and there that are probably a small improvement but for the cost Im thinking of just sticking with the Windcatcher.

I have been looking at a few archers around the place. On level 88 archer was still using the Unicorn and one level 97 yesterday still had the Windcatcher.

So I stick with the Windcatcher and probably get the 95 Morai weapon for pve and a cheap Draonbow Nameless for 99 as a placeholder until I can afford something good?

    You could have used an Everfragrance, Vast Land, or Broad Land since 85 as all three options are better than a Windcatcher, though I am sure the mold is dirt cheap. Still, I found a Vast Land +3 with shards in the AH for 2.5m and I used it till 95, and that was quite a while ago.

    As for level 95, I found a green lunar bow for 4m and used that till I got an HS. I prefer that to a weapon that's bound and has no resale value.

    Yeah the Windcatcher cost me 500k but I do like the .int and extra range - but that Lunar Bow of yours - did they forget to add a '0' when selling it or something. Shouldnt a g13 bow be approx. 40mill being the normal cost of the lunar glade insignia:weapon?

    There are green lunar weapons that are not very expensive, the green lunar 95 bow is a good option, it does not have the specific skills and stats the HS has, but works well.

    Use broad land up to 100; tbh with NW you should have enough raps to cast a TT99 gold bow right into G13/15 and have it waiting for you

    Broad Land > Vast Land > Windcatcher

    I recommend Vast Land, as it should be cheap.

    At 95, I suggest trying the Morai slingshot.

    At 99, Dragonbow: Nameless binds. But it's also cheap as hell, so sure. You can also create a Dragonbow: Nameless and *not* equip it. This allows you to make Nirvana Stage 3 out of it, and trade around your alts that are collecting badges (if they are on different accounts), for the purposes of rerolling. Only equip after you are done rerolling.

    morai slingshot is nice, but only for pve tbh; in pvp you need a fair bit of skill spam too (see dat BM in pmarrow?), though your dps will be quite nice in pve

    I like how walpurga is acting as if there is any pvp worth speaking of before lvl 100.

    If your a fast leveler why bother getting anything better than Windcatcher. Take the money you would have spent on a wep and use it on hypers and make it to 100 faster and get a real weapon. Only truly impressive wep before 100 would be Heaven Shatterer and on my server NW has driven up the cost of them so why bother.

    This is the impression I was getting myself and sounds like the way to go.

    I would reccomend the TT80 gold bow, its fairly cheap (atleast when i made mine) and i found i much better than the fc green, also perfered the proc (gloom) over the broadland's proc. Used it till 95 or so when my brother loaned me his HS.

    were u get that? and y would u tell person to get that if it only good for pve? striker glare is okay for lvl90 so i rather use that and there is fc that can help u get to lvl 100.

    I strongly suggest using a Vastlands, not Broadlands, for bow until 95 at which heaven shatterers become far worth their price tag. When I was lv 85-95 I used a broadlands and at 89+ if i sparked and I got proc to trigger I almost always pulled boss and died being incredibly squishy squish back then, vast lands are only slightly weaker and dont have the suicide proc
