PWI keeps on crashing

(forgot to crop the pic sorry b:embarrass)
So anyway I've been getting that error message along with my pwi client crashing for about a month now (never had any problems with pwi before). It happens to me like around 5+ times every day (90% of the time in archosaur or any crowded and laggy place) and its starting to get my nerves... Thought the recent game patch would have fixed it for me but apparently it didnt.
Every time im about to crash I experience slight lag that gets progressively worse a few seconds just before the crash, I guess that would be the best way to describe it. If I wanted to replicate the crash pretty much all I'd need to do is go to arch and run around there for 5-10 mins.
So yea I was just wondering if anyones having the same problem... Any help is appreciated, ty in advance

Of course, just quickly posted this pretty late last night to see if anyone else has already dealt with the same issue and found a fix for it since it seemed like an error in the games coding itself (like for example those airborne particles @ arch somehow glitching out and spawning infinitely in a single spot causing the game to run out of memory allocated for its thread resulting in a crash <--- just a wild example guess what I think could be happening).
Well anyway here you go:
OS - Win7 64 bit
Specs - i7 2700k, 16gb DDR3 (4 sticks), LGA 1155 mobo, gtx 680 with 2 displays hooked up, Auzentech X-Fi Forte soundcard, 2 standard 500gb HDDs (not on raid)
Security - nope

Unfortunately, yes, many have encountered issues like that, but also there are many different solutions, which is why we need detailed data to delve into it further.
Also, I used to ask for HiJackThis logs, but I have discovered that Speccy gives much more detailed data (especially on drivers and bossible hardware/software conflicts), is easier to link the results with their publish feature, and is much easier to read than a HiJackThis log.
Now for the issue... It's commonly caused by the client hitting the 2GB memory cap for 32-bit applications. By video driver issues. By corrupt client files. By your antivirus software interfering. By your firewall interfering. By processes hogging the single CPU that teh client is trying to use. By the data not being transferred from your CPU to your GPU fast enough for the client to display the textures (amazingly common even on super overpowered systems). Or by incompatible video codecs.
Now, for your specific case...
It appears that you're using Driver version 310.7. While there is a newer version of 310.9, both of those have been showing issues on some cards with the client and various other games. The best stable driver I am aware of for Nvidia right now is 306.97. You will want to try rolling back to that using the clean install option under advanced settings.
(Also note: ANY customizations you have made to the 3D settings menu WILL cause your client to crash and/or act funky.)
I'm not seeing any of the video codecs that I'm familiar with causing issues. I will note though, that some 3rd party video codecs may load and try to adjust the video settings for the client. This can cause some instability if the settings cause too much of a processing delay. I always recommend un-installing any 3rd party video codecs you have installed to see if it clears the issue up.
Now onto the HiJackThis...
Akamai and Pando are going to sit in the background and waste system resources. I recommend un-installing both of them.
The Skype toolbar is also known to cause issues with crashing the client. You don't install this on purpose, but it can get installed alongside Skype without your knowing it. Check Add/Remove programs for the Skype Toolbar and also in your IE plugins.
Shutting down un-necessary applications like Bamboo Dock, osu!, ESL Wire, FutureMark, TeamViewer, and so forth. You've got a lot of stuff running in the background that is going to slow down your CPU time for the client. Remember, even though you have this super awesome i7 with all the latest CPU threading technology, the client cannot see it and will not use it at all.
AVG tends to use a lot of resources scanning things, and it can cause false-positives that will break your client files. Be sure that you have the client directory excluded from all active/real-time and scheduled scans. If you had not done that already, do it and then verify the files 2 or 3 times. (Verifying a few times occasionally doesn't hurt anything either. Remember to reboot after you verify. One verify never fixes anything.)
Reducing the draw distance slider in the main UI settings can help as well.
If you wish to link a published Speccy report, I can delve into system drivers and hardware configuration a bit more. That should be enough to get you started.Take the time to look for your answer before you post like an idiot.

Thanks for the reply, I'm 99% sure my issue is caused by hitting that 2gb memory cap as you said because even when I start lagging in the game my gpu and cpu are both sitting @ really low usage none of the cores being above 50%. I don't know whats hogging all the memory yet but I'll try rolling back the video drivers and reinstalling the game.
As for the 3d settings in the nvidia driver I noticed that I had force-disabled vsync so I'm changing that back to the default setting. (not that I even use vsync in anything though... lol)0 -
It's the 2GB RAM limitation on elementclient.exe. There are ways to cap it at 4GB, but if we post the method on the forums, it results in a ban. Google is your friend.I host an Ecatomb mirror here: ecatomb.gdevtalk.net
I've been actively playing since late 2008.

Well changing the mem cap fixed it for me. Thanks

Can anyone tell me that method to remove the ram limit on a PM please? I have been searching in google for hours and i found nothing.0
