    • what does attack/defense lvl debuff do on mobs?

    hey guys we have northan sky debuff (-20 defense lvl on mob/player)
    and soulsever (-10 defense/offense level debuff)

    just wondering...what do this actually do on mobs.....we all know what it does on players but would -10 defense lvl on mobs be 10% amp?

    please someone explain

      Mobs have attack level of 0 and defense level of 0. So when you use northern debuff on them, it reduces their defense level by 20 for 8 secs. aka their new defense level will be -20.
      Hence, other people can do more damage on them. It doesn't necessarily mean 20% amp.

      so what does it do..is there a certain universal viable percentage of damage it inflicts like amp increasing 25% or is it just dependent on the attack level of the people attacking the defense level debuffed mob?

      It's explained here:

      That debuff is the same as adding attack levels to whoever is attacking the target. There is a diminishing return on it. Giving 10 attack levels to someone with 0 attack levels increases their damage by 10%. Giving 10 attack levels to someone who already has 100 attack levels only increases their damage by 5%.

      At the second attack level. The increase at the margin is the same but the percentage increase from the previous base declines as the size of the previous base increases. If you give a dollar to a millionaire and to a homeless man its still a dollar each time regardless of the percentage increase in wealth to the recipient.
