PVP in Secret Passage But...

I started a new thread because i want gm's to see this Post and don't want it to get lost in the other Thread interned for this discussion.

I was in Secret Passage the other day just killing mobs on the way to my culti boss: frost something (big dog in the back room).

A nice cleric went out of there way to catch up to me and buff me. I didn't know they were buffing me because i was talking to my wife in RL, but because they buffed me there name came up on my screen as the target, and the next shots i took killed them. Done talking to my wife i look back at the screen and they are pming me, understandable they are vary mad at me for killing them. At 1st i thought they were joking because I didn't see any of this happen.

I did not intend to kill them or anyone. I have nothing to gain by doing this!

They told me they were going to report me, I found out what faction they were in and I happen to have a cleric in that faction. So i changed to my cleric to try and make good my wrong doing. They were not happy still but faction leader asked them nicely to not report me as it sounded like a accident.

So the reason for this Post is to say if a mistake like that can happen because I was buffed, then how many ppl got ban for the same reason or mistakes like that one.

The person i pked by mistake refused my help after but i would still like to do something to make it up to her as i do feel bad for the mistake.

Just a note: we were the same lvl

They need to STOP PK in there! It's easy to get anyone banned in there, specially when you need a culti boss!

yep that kinda my point. On one end you get mean ppl that go in and pk for the sake of being mean. Now on the opposite end if i was a mean low lvl i can make a cleric (or what ever) buff someone and get shot up for it take a SS and report them. Even tho they did not intend to kill me, I however am there to be mean right, so i wanted them to kill me. now i report them and they get ban. Its a little troubling that the door only opens one way. Or can i report ppl for buffing me to kill them lol sarcasm.

I have said this before and sent in a suggestion through the ticket system :
the game is obviously capable of having multiples of a instance... Secret Passage SUCKS for PVP

use a duplicated Nightscream Island instead... it is bigger and has multiple ways out of the SZ rather than the BS that is SP. It isn't fun PVP for the players and annoying PVE for the players I just don't see how Secret Passage for PVP = fun....

I wonder... If we spammed them with tickets about it, would they take the 30 seconds that it requires to change the PvP flag on the instance before they start the server next time? hell, they don't even need to restart the server, they just need to restart the map for SP.

I mean, it's just stupid that all it takes is changing one simple text string in one file to fix it, and they can't be bothered to do that.

It bothers me that they know every major patch reverts SP to PvP, and they can't take couple of minutes to prevent something they know will happen. Instead, we just get the same old "we'll revert it in the next major patch." And finally this time they have decided they are too lazy to even do that.

They should just move the mobs and bosses outside if they don't want to fix this every time it breaks.

When someone report they should require the person to have in track the quest he's doing, to avoid the nad that will go run in a AOE and report everyone and their mothers, if the person have no quest there, then they have nothing to do their and probably get kill by their own fault.

The ban rules is to avoid people pking low level questing, but if someone is not questing and is there, he just look for trouble.

I was actually wondering why they haven't done something about it yet. It's already been..what? 2 months? 3 months?

Anyhow, I quite agree they should just take all the quest mobs/bosses outside the instance or something since every time we receive a major patch from PWCN, SP gets goes back to being PvP enabled.

They aren't allowed to make changes to code, China has to provide it for them. And in the future, you can report people for false reports. You said sorry, your chat logs more than prove your innocence. Just send a ticket as well and you won't get banned. V4liance has already said that doing false reports like that is just as against the rules and bannable as killing someone without their consent. Since there is already a thread discussing SP with official GM responses, i'm going to close this. :P Please use the appropriate thread to further discuss it. Thank you.
