Any chance of making r9 cheaper?

With the NW making it easy to obtain the r9rr set, the matts for the r9 matts should get cheaper as well, sure its cheaper then 1.5k gold when its on sale, and there was a sale when it was around 670 gold i think, but im almost sure that we wont be seeing the matts getting that cheap again.

So i was thinkin that maybe they should lower the mog/chip prices and make the whole set 500-600 gold in total.

... Yes let's gear everyone in R9 third cast seeing as the first set is the hardest part. Surely that will help. >_>

Just be patient and wait for R10 or whatever to come out so that R9 becomes the new R8 that has half the population temporarily ragequit over it.

    Full support.

I mean, it's not like CSers haven't already gained a massive edge. It's second cast was reduced under 1/10th its original cost and it's not like we had a bunch of orb sales recently to allow for easy refining. They should lower the cost so everyone can get their R9 cheaper, because we certainly don't have plenty of sets, and if you don't have it then you can definitely go grind out TT or Nirvana for the money to buy it when it's on sale. Best idea I've seen lately, 100% support man.

Be patient, ofc R9 will become cheaper after a while, no matter how much QQers will cry.
I'd bet next weapon/gear update (in 6 months or more) will upgrade nv 3rd cast. And I'd bet it won't match with r9 3rd cast. And maybe at Xmas or even later there will be a rank10 relase, which will give you 10attack/10def lvls more than R9 recast for original cost of R9. At least I smell this pattern lol.

Tbh more important than cheaper R9 would be cheaper packs. Or at least you should get more "perfect tokens of luck" per pack, maybe 25 instead of 15. The token price effects the F2P community more than price of R9 mats. E.g. earthguards are almost impossible to play without mp pots which are only obtainable by tokens.

Or wait for r10 to come out find out its an upgrade to 3rd cast r9 and have all those who waited and don't even have rank 9 1st cast quit permanently.

As if there weren't enough ppl with r9 rofl. I agree with kossy.

Also, I'm pretty sure the apothecary sells mp pots.
Since your mp is so low...those should be sufficient.

It's not like every base thing that can be upgraded by nation wars has sky rocketed in price, e.g. Lunar glade weapon insignia, TT99 Gold.

That's the same as lunar glade weapon insignia's lol, they're pack items, thus the coins are farmable, not the actual item, yes the expensive way of making them at the forges is completely farmable but that's a waste of money.

She never said it was quick or a practical way. And what can you expect, R9 is practically the base for PWE's money making from PWI, so they're not exactly going to make it easy to farm it in-game with just coins, of course they're going to make it much easier but expensive to cash shop it.

All you have to do... is "farm" mysterious chips, to make the 205 general summer tokens... 9999 chips per token... 2,050,000 chips in all... bh's can easily yield that. And, then just "farm" mogs... like all the other R9's have done... or so i've heard. b:avoid

wow was i late on the same line of trollin b:chuckle

R9 is endgame gear and this is a F2P. Hell, do you really think that kind of gear is easily farmable?

Points stands, it's farmable. Is that farming any practical or time efficient? That's another point.

Let me know when you manage to "farm" enough mog for the ring.

But to give you credit, mog used to be farmable from dq

There is a difference between things that are not easily farmable and impossible to farm. I'm not sure about cube (which usually sinks your coin). Just on tokens alone would take more than 20 years to gain all those chips (alone) to make the tokens just by doing BH100 over and over if you just farm the mats. Whoever tries farming that is basically a non-life idiot and could be doing something else with their life because they will never really farm those gear, ever... Even I find it better off just buying R9 with RL money or just merchant.

It's already dirt cheap with that last 50% off sale.

Making it cheaper will cause pwi to be another *forbidden* server.

Everyone is missing Xainou's point. There are some really old time players with 10+ alts at 100+. They farmed all their mog from dq days. Their alts get the chips to make gst. Their friends help out and give free gst. It really is possible, but co-operative play is not part of most pwi players dictionary, that is why it seems odd to everyone. Every time there is a quiz event, i get 2~5 gst made from alts. I give them to my friends. Every few weeks i give them summerwind tokens.

It is true though, pwi game play is co-operative and not selfish at its essence.

Farming perfect chi stones = farming cards = 2~3 person job. Every 2x we make about 30k chi stones each. Lasts us for a year this way.

Farming basic badges = 2~6 person job

Farming tt = 2~6 person job

Farming delta = 2~6 person job (quickly becoming solo though)

Treasure map quest = 1~2 people, though most just solo

PQ = Can solo but it requires OP alts or lots of time, far quicker with more people.

Going for a specific goal = help one friend out at a time. When we went from tt80 to g15 gear (weapon, armour), we outfitted one friend/alt/main at a time. This kept on improving our runs, rather than splitting equally each time.

I am the only one that does NW, so i don't mind making summerwind tokens for friends, helps them out, since my gear is not there yet.

Farming dq = same set up as farming cards. One friend sets up zen, another pulls, 1~2 help pick drops at all times. The puller constantly pulls. We get more dq than any one soloing for the same time.

Yeah, back in the day you saw more teamwork. Now everyone is only concerned about reaching their goals and to hell with anyone else. Admittedly I've gotten into this mindset, but that's because I have nobody who I'd really care to help. The good friends I did have all quit ages ago.
