Can't get game to download

Hi! I just finished the initial game download, and when I try to run it I get a note pad saying

open=Install.exe
icon=icon.ico


I really want to try playing =( anyone have any idea of how I can fix?

    Try to find the install.exe file on the download folder right-click run as administrator.

    I've tried downloading the game several times, but each time I do and start up the client it says "Connection Error" and goes on about how I connect to the servers and the PMB.exe isn't allowed to go through the firewall..
    So I've tried looking up on google, watched some tutorials on youtube but still can't seem to find out how to allow the game to play. I have the pando media, PMB.exe and the pwi client allowed through the firewall, yet it still doesn't work.
    If you can help me, please post and answer to I can't finally enjoy the game, and end the endless hours of having to uninstall and reinstall..

    Follow this to the letter and your problems will be solved.

    6. In this folder there is a file called "install.exe". Run it. (If you have Vista or newer, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator.)
    7. Follow the directions to install the client.
    8. After the client is done installing, add the directory where it installed to the exceptions list for your antivirus software. (The default folder location is "C:\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International")
    9. Launch the client using the icon that was placed on your desktop during the install and let it update.
    8b. Launch the client and then close it before it updates, and then download the manual patches needed to bring the client up to date and install them. (Manual method is about 80% faster than automatic.)
    10. Play

    Hi i fully downloaded the game today but dont know how to start it up or where to play the game? ive looked in my desktop but cant see anything :S help please ah

    you pay attention to where it downloaded the installer files to and run install.exe from that directory. When it's finished installing, an icon will be placed on your desktop.

    Don't forget to fix your antivirus before you update the files and try to play.
