Which is seriously more fun of those servers?

I'm thinking of playing PWI again and I just don't know which server will be best...
Raging Tide? Sanctuary? HT? DW?
I like to help newbies which are supposed to be rare but whatever. If there are any other opinions and reasons about each server, I'd be glad to know them. I haven't played for a year. If it is easier then try to make commercial for these servers. I read a lot on forums these days but I still can't decide.

    This is not a game for the patient newbie anymore. Or at least, that's what people would have you believe. And there are certainly a lot fewer newbies to help. -_-

    My best advice is to pick a populated server like HT or Sanctuary. A less populated server tends to have fewer squads for things and a lot of their player base often powerlevels. Populated servers also tend to have lower prices on things, although not always.

    Sanctuary is basically just 100+ BH, Warsong and AEU now. Everything else is dead. Don't bother starting here unless you already have several friends.

    HT and DW are nice. DW seems to be a little cheaper though on a lot of stuff. Other then that they are about the same. Are you a west coast or east coast time frame person? Or it doesnt matter i guess?

    If by "fun" you're only looking to help lower levels then you're out of luck - most don't stay at those levels for very long nowadays. You may as well join one of the more populated servers.

    Simple put don't started playing again if you want to help ppl out. You get sick of helping ppl over and over and end up being the one without a helping hand. But if you want to play join a server who match your time zone or you find yourself left out off many events.

    Make sure you don't join Heavens Tears because all i notice there if you a cleric everyone wants to be your friend. Every faction promise to be there for TT/FF/BH and more but in the end you need to find a Squad outside the faction for sure. Never make a veno to join Heavens Tear, even if many ppl tell me its a great class: I find hardly a squad who takes a veno on FF or any another instance. BH great if you doing 69/79 or 100+ between those level you find yourself lost and depents on a high lvl who happend to be bored and wants to help out. Lower levels do not exist because ppl just jump in Power level given in FF.


    So don't join pwi again you get bored soon enough again and its a waste of your money and time

    I haven't tried Sanc yet, but RT and HT are my favorites so far. DW seemed a lot cheaper, and there were a lot of really nice and friendly people o.o but it didn't seem as active to me- could be because of my timezone though~

    Basically all servers are 100+ now though, and it gets pretty boring if your a lower level, as not many people do instances at-level under 80 anymore-it's mostly having a 100+ clear it for you up until that point lol.

    I'd probably recommend just staying on RT, since you'll have more to do at 100 than you would if you started over on another server.

    for low level stuff, nothing really, all the same

    i happen to like the TW on RT, mainly because your have a few factions that can compete, so the map isnt boring

    On HL we have a TW faction that recruit every level, we have level 65 with TT60 coming in TW and you know what? We beat main TW factions with that guild, we beat a faction full of R8r while we don't even have a base. We have people under level 100 with Morai gears coming TW and we win.

    I didn't saw any other server with a TW faction that recruit every levels. A TW faction with a bunch of alts and low level that is on the map and get attacked by main TW faction and win.

    It's why for me HL is special. On other servers I could world chat all day long ''LvL 83 cleric looking for TW faction''' and I will never get any pm, while on HL people can find a good TW faction at any level. ^-^

    thats pretty much the same for every well established long standing server.

    @OP
    like someone said in the second post, id choose one of the older servers. (HT sanct) if worst comes to worst, at least you have the bazillion catshops to fall back on in sanctuary.

    Just search the Archer sub-forum for Lucy_Black. There, you can see the high quality of DW players. Even though he's gone, his legacy lives on in the speech and actions of the server's more talkative population!
