Perhaps he felt the lottery was drawing random players for FC and he happened to pull possibly the most OP geared 9x EP on the server; and so he felt he won the lottery, because more often then not joining a random FC squad is a toss up on whether you will fail or succeed.

My post meant no negative meaning behind it. It's just weapons like this are definitely not as rare when the price requirement to get one is reduced 10 fold, literally.
Before it used to cost well over 3.5 billion coins just to make one Warsoul weapon. Now with the average current price of Supply Tokens per NW, the cost comes down to somewhere around a 250m price range, which is a LOT cheaper than the original price.
I meant no ill will when I said what I said. It's great that the OP is enjoying playing this game and not focusing on just gear. Getting what they want and achieving that goal is what makes the game worth playing. Constructive criticism doesn't hurt either.

Thats really a misleading statement. You take out all the goodies about r9s... and say that warsoul is just as good as r9. Of course if you take out enough from an r9... its not going to be as good. I've never seen a warsoul weapon, so grats on seeing one.
Personally, I would be more interested in seeing warsoul than r9rrr, of which there are plenty of. Good for them, but, meh, so what. I dont give a **** about it. If I want it I will buy it, but seeing there are very few new players joining the game, its pointless to spend more money when the population, in regards to a bell curve, is and has been curving downward albeit slowly and i dont farm...I work too much in rl for the tedium of farming all day.

Actually I'm glad to see someone else has it.
I would prefer a warsoul weapon over r9+, why? because rank weapons are bound to 1 character, and I play several. Things that bind to one character are not practical for me, and believe me I considered r9 for a while. My main is not a class that gets one of the OP r999 procs on its weapon, so having a more or less comparable weapon that can be shared by many characters that is also NOT bound to an account couldn't be more perfect. So one of the main pleasures I got out of the NW expansions was now a Warsoul weapon is actually a viable potential!
Either way, any of the Warsouls, regardless of their drastic price decrease, are still the rarest weapons in the game, so finding someone using one is definitely worth noticing.
I think the rarest thing I ever saw was gold FCC armor.
I remember when I first started PW and I saw all the armor options, my goal for end game was full gold FCC armor/weapon. I was so disappointed when I learned FCC didn't drop materials anymore b:cry
Next to that, any of those badge weapons still being used; saw a few Hitmans, and a few Beamhoof Slicers.0 -

No. That would be lame. Sorta like you post. Everyone realizes that lame and loser aren't good things right? That these terms apply to people who dwell in basement, never bathe, and have not seen sunlight in years? At the very least realize that lame is not funny.

In most cases that may be true though if I am the one out of coffee and armed only with a coffee cup it's anyone's game.
And to the poster who "paraphrased" my comment. I only put down those who are putting down others. From my short time playing this game and reading these forums that seems to go on a lot. But maybe that's just a sign of the games age. I definitely started playing towards its eol.0 -

I wasn't aware I was putting anyone down, but your post was still humorous, so I'll give you that. I think it was cool to see a warsoul bow in action though I was disappointed that he died so quickly. I also, sadly, don't have a r999 weapon.
But I do have four coffee mugs and a portable, insulated one. I am well aware of the power of coffee-drinking implements.
