mystic and solo metal pav

Im full t2 nirvana,wand weap. I deal around 18k on those mobs.But prob is I cant kill fast enough to avoid the head. Ill take all advices there are.TY so muchb:sad

    What's the refine and shard of you weapon and you have the wand second recast?

    What's your build? Are you pure magic or have points in vit or other?

    Do you use a Jone's blessing or a O'malley?

    If you're not doing at least 30k as a caster, you shouldn't be soloing a pavilion.

    +3 is to low for refine for a weapon to solo a pav.

    my hits with a +4 stage3 the glaive of nirvana, i hit close to 30k on my cleric on fire and kill all mobs before timer is up...sooooo dunno what ya talkin boutb:bye

    but i only have 500 mag attribute,and armor is stage 2 nirv,39% channel :( lost 6channel when i recasted to stage3 weapon.Working on stage3 molds need chest/wrist,but really thinking to hell with it,really dont need the junk.

    I can solo fire on a cleric without killing a single thing. Now what?

    hm, haven't tried it but shouldn't earthquake knock back the head? coupled with mystic knockback it would probably be enough to deal with the head
    you only purge once #yopo

    Yes it does, I don't need it, but tried it for fun and it work.

    The worst idea on a mystic imo. Since our strongest aoe is lucky break + gale force but that brings you so close, you'll most likely blow up. :D

    Also, kiting the head is easy. You just need more DD power.

    I agree with her, group mobs is a bad idea, usually mystic have time to kill them as they come.

    I don't know anything about playing a mystic, but I am going to disagree with anyone that claims it is impossible with your gear. The mobs in the metal pavilion have no magic defense and they have a much higher chance to "self destruct" than the mobs in the other pavilions.

    Also, you don't have to kill all the mobs to succeed. You just have to keep the incarnation alive and the sum of the scores on all pavilions must be over 800 points (meaning if everyone else kills all the mobs you only need to kill 14 of the 30 mobs in metal to succeed).

    I have been in squads where people have completed pavilions with new unrefined weapons. Since I don't play a mystic I can't give you any specifics on what an effective strategy might be for you.

    When I had much lower gear, the only time I would use chi is to spark. I used cloud eruption on my genie to get chi back faster. DD the mobs as much as you can and when the head gets close, don't even bother with control skills, just move far away and start DD'ing again. Occasionally hit the head so it doesn't reset (I tend to use gush/glacial snare to slow it down to buy more time to DD before moving).

    If the head does start to reset, seal it. (I'm making an assumption here that mystics have a skill that can seal, I don't know this for a fact.) Sealing it will interrupt it from resetting, where normal attacks usually don't.

    As soon as you see a mob threaten to explode ("let's die together") leave it alone and move on to another one.

    Don't let anyone discourage you. I am sure you can find a strategy that works for you. Also, some advice I give everyone starting out in warsong is to go on BH runs in warsong and practice the pavilion while everyone else is standing around waiting.

    So basically you never tried it. And have no clue about how to play a mystic. And yet you disagree with the people who know what they're talking about from experience...?

    i think that if mystics have a stun, a knockback, a seal, a sleep and a freeze it's very easyb:chuckle

    metal was a walk in the park for any head but sac; but we have a reliable knockback with sufficiently sort cd.

    btw I checked earthquake and the knockback is too small; you'll probably have to spam it way too much

    New unrefined weapon, yes but which class and which weapon? If it's a 3rd recast nirvana refine yes, every caster with a 3rd recast unrefined should be able to solo their pav, cause the 40 attack level.

    We speak by experience and you say yourself you don't have experience about mystic and say what we say is ****?

    She say she have a +3 weap and cannot do it and you tell her people with 0 refine can do it? You pretty much tell her she fail at her class, good job.

    I never saw someone do a pav with a unrefined weapon, unless 3rd recast nirvana or R9.
