Over three years ago, I was a level 50 BM trying to find a goal that will keep me interested in the game no matter what the changes.

I went with going for an impossible goal. I was going for the Brothers of Fear. After three years and 56% into the progress with mostly my own sweat to push everything that I could to my goal.

I pictured that many thought it was a pipe dream or that I would quit.

PWI released Nation War and all that did was tick off a lot of people. At first, I was a little annoyed at the change but then I noticed that the exchange included warsoul pieces.

Kaldeen the bm from level 50 is now 102. In addition, I ended up with a small army of alts. Barb 100, Cleric 100, Sin 101, Archer 97 and a few others.

While mostly I did the weapon alone, I had a little help. Mischiefff, Ravenblossom, and BloodRaynX help push the last three months to finish what I needed. Thank you for your help and belief that I could get it done.

There are many who promised to help and they have more or less disappeared before making any notable increase in progress. Thank you anyway.

And tonight 1/20/13 into 1/21/13 eastern standard time, the Brothers of Fear first cast is finally made.

    Grats great job, when i started around 1.7- 2 odd years back and was low lvl i had no idea about r9 gear and used to hope i would get Brothers axes one day.. They were a dream for me once b:laugh but neways good job

    Congratulations , really.

    By doing this You are making warsoul items less fake for everyone, and more real too.

    Although we know that they always were there. They being there wasn't a thing that stopped being real or anything.

    But nearly unattainable .

    Congratulations Kal!!! I know how long and hard you worked for the axes. I remember WAY back when you showed me the mold and told me about your plans. Proud of you for seeing it through and finally getting everything needed to make those awesome axes.

    From what I can see so far, against seat mobs. 480 or 558.
    Vs Delta mobs 100s. Vs Delta Bosses 800s.
    Vs about the same level psychic 100s
    Vs HA Veno about the same level, 48hp.

    While it is extra damage, it does better in pve. The biggest thing I've noticed is that it makes me feel like i'm zerking all the time with no hp loss.

    With my gear and jones blessing and axes, i have 103 att level.

    Someone asked me in pm in the game. "I hear it is not refinable"

    I have it currently at +2, so it is refinable. I only refined it to prove that it is refinable.

    Over 3 years.
    But that was before NW.

    Basically you have to use shortcuts when avalable, like 18 purified perfect stones for the jakari and championship helm for the manjusri.

    But it's more cost effective now to use NW.

    So I can't tell you how long it will take for NW to make a warsoul.

    The old way I got to 56% over 3 years making the pieces through chip and coin one at a time whenever I have the resources.

    I got to admit, I have been enjoying the new axes since I got them.

    I had turned Kaldeen aps for chi building but lately with the axes, even just the regular damage is more or less doubled due to my attack level being 103.

    With Cloud Eruption and sage chi skill. I am pretty happy with returning to my roots as an AOE Half Tanker.

    with making the warsoul? Nope, It didn't bother me that rank 9 or the recast or the re re cast came out because the goal was still the warsoul weapon.

    Everyone knows that making the warsoul weapon is very tedious and long. NW came out and made it faster and a fraction of the original cost.

    I didn't care if they came out with r999 because i'm gunning for the first warsoul weapon on Sanctuary. If someone made it before me then I would be one of the few that had it.

    It was never impossible. It was more improbably. Without nation wars, it was a test of how patient are you to get it completed.

    If nation war didn't come out, I'd still be working on it for maybe another 3 years lol.

    3/2 the recast is done. Final incarnation of the warsoul axes has been achieved.

    got 59 att level and since there is no way to reroll that, it will have to do.

    Now to go damage test on bosses. lol



    ALSO, +2 that I had on the warsoul was cleared when I recasted. It still takes 2 mirages to +1 it instead of the 5 mirages that other g16s get.
