Why does the R9 ep 3rd cast weapon look EXACTLY the same as the regular R9 weapon. I just got mine and am really disappointed.

Considering all other classes I've seen with R9 3rd cast weapons all have a different color scheme and look slightly different, I would like to know why this happened?


Lazy PWI to not change the look of EP weapon.

    Better than the Morai skins other classes get. Except Seeker and Wizard. Those are pretty beast.

    LOL, what? Rank9 3rd cast Seeker is the same as Morai g12 quest sword xD.
    Yer lucky in this case OP, as other classes had it much worse. At least yours looks like a rank weapon and not a g12 freebie weapon anyone can get.

    Barb is the same as the Morai quest poleaxe. They got jipped pretty hard. BMs get some pretty lame axes as well.

    I'm geussing you are a cleric?

    For all r999 it is a downgrade in appearance, at least cleric weapon stays the same. Dont complain when you have the best of the draw

    Seeker's indeed have G12 morai's look and Wiz's got G15 morai look... <.< Venos and Mystics get R8r look (at least it's pretty, unlike the G12 morai barbs and seekers get...).
    If I'm not wrong, only archers, bms, sins and psys get a unique looking wep. But archer's bow is fugly, psy's sphere looks good but anyways in things like NW/TW you prolly won't notice they're holding a R9-3 sphere if you don't already know it cause their wep looks so tiny when you don't look at it closely; BMs axes are considered ugly too (well, I find them nice enough... for female bms that is...). So actually only sins get a pretty and unique looking wep as R9-3.

    Also, I know it can be frustrating to not get a wep that doesn't looks as epic as it actually is, but it also can be an asset for things like NW/TW.
    You can be mistaken for a regular R9 cleric, so ppl prolly won't be as "serious" as they'd be if they knew your supposedly R9-1 wep is actually a R9-3 one ^o^
    (And I guess it's even better for classes who get a G12 morai looking R9-3 wep xD)

    At this point I've learned to assume anyone with a Morai weapons skin is using recasted R9. Because they hurt. And I don't like to be hurt. Sadface.

    But really why can't we have our badass axes back? Or that sexy china armor. So delicious.

    I think Cotillion meant that the Seeker r9r2 sword and the Wizard's r9r2 sword look cool, even though they are of the Morai g15 skin.

    And at least your weapon has working textures. Daggers still have yet to have their corrupted texture file fixed.

    Nope, all the rank9 final cast are recycled models with new textures over them. Archer's is a recycled OHT bow. Sin is recycled FC daggers (with broken textures on top of that). BM is recycled Lunar, I believe. I don't recall what the spheres were reused from off hand.
    These were all altered and have new textures to distinguish them from the original models they are stealing from, unlike Barb and Seeker which are direct copies of g12 Morai.
    At the very least, they should add new textures to them to be able to distinguish between them from looks alone.

    It never ceases to amaze me the number of "5-minute fixes" that there are in this game. I mean, one developer could spend merely two weeks just taking care of the little **** and it would fix many bugs in the game, restore missing events, and really improve the quality.

    But they don't.

    I can only see advantages on the looks of R9 and R9rr glaive being the same... they will never know if we proc or not unless they attack us... by that time it can be to late... for them! b:cute

    I'd rather have a different skin. Nw/tw advantage means nothing. My character has a unique look that is pretty much recognizable to anyone that hurts (matters) I'm going to get targeted anyway so I may as well have a weapon to match the 3rd cast armor

    Looks mean everything. :P

    In all honesty... I would much prefer if I can make my (and only my) 3rd cast look like tt70 unicorn.
