SKIP A HEAD TO THE QUESTIONS IF YOU DON'T LIKE TO READ

Hi, I'm an old level 100 psychic ( joined the day they were released). I leveled rather slowly because I'm a loner. Countless deaths for my attempt to solo BH's eventually I did them. When I hit lvl 70 I joined a guild (leviathan) but I stayed loner in the most part just cause When I asked questions for help gear wise there weren't many psychics that were willing to help or had great gear (besides LuciferV and a few others. Sadly those awesome psychics weren't willing to help either). I left the game out of sadness and Anger because of the lack of support. Couldn't find many groups because of the lack of money, Most groups wanted amazing gear which requires cash, but get cash you either have to Pay it up IRL or do those groups that aren't helping you. :l The endless Cycle of Helplessness. Now that Nirvana's aren't as big (the cannies and Raptures) I bestow upon the Forums these questions:
THE QUESTIONS!!!
  • What gear is cheap but still good? (I've heard Tier 3 Nirvana is good)
  • This leads me to the next question. Which is How do you do Nirvanas (I've never done Nirvana's tocouldn't get in those gears because I don't have good gear)?
  • The only cash producer I can think of are TT's. Which leads me to question number 3- Which TT's do I do for best Cash flow?

    Hi there

    Nirvana t3 is excellent gear for those who farm everything in game.

    Unfortunately due to the new update people don't do nirvana anymore.

    Or perhaps that's fortunate for you since you've never done them haha!

    Now adays the rapture and uncanny crystals are gained from nation wars which is a capture the flag pvp event held on Fridays and Sundays at 8:15pm

    For this tt99 or lunar gear is required which is the gear which is recasted into nirvana

    After this warsong and lunar are the instances you'll want to farm to collect badges and molds.

    In terms of tts 3-1, 3-2 and 3-3 are all good

    A lot of people make money from cube now doing the advanced version which gets you cogs of fate.
    Another good money earner is treasure maps during 2x for chrono pages

    How would I Do the recasing for the TT99 once I get all TT99? Should I wait before I try and refine it or do I keep the refine level after it is recasted?

    The only recast that transfer for free shard, gem and sockets is R9 to R9r. Imo, if you can live as you're or with a few upgrade, like getting a full set of TT90, you should be able to not have to refine TT99/lunar and go straight to nirvana 2nd cast with some work and saving. (Rerolling add on the gear vary between 2nd cast and 3rd cast, but worry about them later).

    For recasting from TT99 or lunar, the forge are next to nirvana, there you will find 1st and 2nd. Total of 250 rapture when combining 1st and 2nd for weapon (100 and then 150) and same for armor but with canny.

    Once 3rd cast, both TT99 and lunar based set are combined into the same one, so the only difference is TT99 base making it pre-bounded and lunar enabling you to resale in the future if you wish.

    For your current gear, it look like ok budget gear, but at level 100, I'd try to get TT90 green (except maybe the top if you're short) and shoot for 2-4 refine with flawless citrine, since you wouldn't get enough hp from refine and gear alone yet. Neck, cape, rings and helm are ok, but try to get a pdef belt similar to your neck if possible.

    Being a loner is hard at endgame if you want to get anything done, especially for a psychic. =/ I truly would recommend you to get some friends if you can.

    Otherwise, if you can go attend NW, try and go, but with your current setup, go uncharmed and don't be ashamed to die. Hopefully you will get some reward if you do decent and can start funding your earlier gear(don't save reward yet imo).

    Wait for a restat note sale to restat out your vit and dex. You can go ahead and get the tt99/Nirvana pieces and equip them as you go if you have tailor/blacksmith. Otherwise, just wait to equip and have someone else craft your tt99/1st+2nd recast Nirvana.

    Regardless though, for the first few weeks of NW, you'll want to just sell all the supply tokens you get as raps/cannies/seals of war for money to buy tt99 mats as you'll likely not be able to farm the mats yourself as a psychic.

    Your main problem with getting the 3rd tier Nirvana though will be in farming Warsong, probably. I don't think you'll be able to solo a pavilion as you are and most squads will expect that of you.

    Warsong as a Psychic is absolute easy mode and it baffles me people struggle with it, regardless of gear. You have AOEs with control skills and a pushback skill, so you can simultaneously hold everything still. His magic attack is a bit low and might be pushing it, but for example metal and fire can be done without ever getting hit as long as his m.atk is decent.

    Get the TT99 soulsphere you need for nirvana 2nd recast, work on that first. That'll allow you to farm more, both from warsong and Nation war.

    I think they've pretty much answered everything gear wise. I would recommend going t-3 myself, and with NW it's become pretty easy to farm. Even if you don't do well in NW a few lucky days with bh should give you enough for the cannies for t2 nirvy, so the TT99 has really become the hardest part to get.

    As for TT's....well, obviously they're not exactly easy to get into as a psy o.o Just find some good friends or a good fac and they should be more than willing to help though~

    Also, for the warsong part- it is extremely easy to solo as a psy, and just find me in game if you need some help with it~ (or anything really- I'm generally more than willing to help with pretty much anything o.o except TT, hate that place >.>)

    So, here is an update, I've done my First NW on friday. Got 53 tokens. which got me around 15m. I have a friend that is like BS8 so helped me out. I did a few TT's sold them hit 20m. I made the tt99 and now I wait for the NW tonight and hope and pray I get enough tokens for some raptures to make it t1. I did the Morai chain quest ( for some reason when I logged back in my Twilight cap was missing.. ANYWAY). The gear is actually better than the gear I last posted pvp and pve.

    Not to be discouraging but you actually need TT99 gold, not green, to recast into nirvana. Unless Im mistaken, which Im doubtful but might happen. Least you got TT99 green sphere, not gold one, on the build you linked :).

    @Rangergod...
    first....you can get +4-+5 refine just from using mirage and some patience for much cheaper than it cost to buy the dragon orbs to refine that...I get +4 for under 1.5m per item(under 600k when lucky). Full gear +3 refines for under 3.5m just using mirages. That will take care of your apparent HP problem. Anything past this lvl refine and you will need orbs.

    I'm not sure how everyone else feels about it but in my opinion, you wasted 40 valuable points on DEX...all for 2% crit when after 90 days for leaving your toon online for 1 hour, you get a free ring that gives you +100 mag attk, 3% crit, 180hp(I think), 1 def. lvl.(see attendance teacher by BH guy in Arch) You can find other rings with good stats and crit % for less than 15m or get the rank ring for 35k/100k rep.

    My psy is 9 lvls lower than you, has 30 more mag points 3% higher crit and probably 1500 more hp and 1k more phys def. All with 18-21% -channel depending which on neck I use(sadly Only 2 of those pieces have channel on purpose and than was before I new better. Just Haven't gotten replacements yet)

    Read a little more into the comments people have made in the forums here and you will get a better understanding of the kind of build you should be working for.

    @Malidega I've tried that refining to +4 with 2m. It always goes back to +2 :l You must have money to blow to do that for each refineable piece of armor/weapon/jewerl you have.
    I suppose I should have given you a little back ground info on myself. The extra dex wasn't intended. When I was a lot lower in psy levels I had just came from Rscape ( I was younger, just jumping in to bigger mmos). My name is rangergod because I thought I could be like on Rscape.... Every class. I actaully wanted to be an Archer that could spell cast. xD I did this thing where I would put points in everything. lol Yep pretty dumb. I actually had around 100 dex (when I was like lvl 75 or something like that) but I had a friend that was nice enough, or perhaps it was pity, to give me a reset for a reduced price. I haven't found a reset for a good price so I'm just going to have to live with the extra crit. When I get the money to by the over priced ones (I see mainly ones being sold for like 50m ... :l Real though? why 50m?). I can't fix that quite yet.

    I'm not really interested in having -% chan. if it falls on my lap sure I'll use it. The rings.. um there is a reason I'm going for T3... R9 isn't going to happen for me. so atm I have liek 20k rep... And It's gonna stay like that for 5 years if this games lasts that long. It's just another case of: dirt poor.

    The rings.. I thought that this ring set: http://pwcalc.com/0ffdbd52815cb264 was good enough. I didn't put on the stats for the rings.. I assumed that those rings came with the extra +magic points so I didn't think to put it in.

    The +1500 hp you have on me with your lvl 91 psychic. Nice, rub it in homes. Rub it in...

    I've kinda been doing that.. which is why I have the barrier atm... wasn't every luck with the last NW I was on Flame.. got my self 10 tokens.. (woot :l).

    Don't get me wrong.. I didn't say that +4 refines were cheap, just much cheaper using mirages than buying dragon orbs. I make my money ingame using AH/catshops. Buy low sell higher and manufacture.

    As for restat notes...50m is very overpriced as you said. for a 50 point restat note on boutique is 5g. Buy the gold from AH when the restat notes go on sale for around 2.5-3g. This seems to happen about every other month or two. i wouldn't worry too much about the vit points.. you can spare a few mag in exchange for vit...just get an all mag tome if you ever have the money saved and find a decent price on one. I had to restat my BM twice before I was 90 (was going Heavy build then changed my mind to go all path) and once on my psy, had 60 points in VIT but I was pretty tanky....(started reading forums at this point and learning about the different toons) And no.. I didn't like wasting my hard earned coin on restat notes but found it necessary.
