Where in perfect world do you have your best memory, and what is that memory?

    Making my first ever friend on here when I was lvl 1 at the starting area, we decided to start to level together, he's a sin, and 2 and a half years later, we're best in-game friends, he's a 101 sin too, we sell fc's all the time and just so stuff b:cute

    Best memory is regardless of where in PWI, but actually with whom, and why.

    Not even playing the game, just standing around, some of the best memories are the off the wall, twisted, often hilarious, always fun, and very adult oriented fact chats we get into. Then again everyone in the faction is an adult, so its no holds barred

    My best memory is from around February/March 2009. I had just turned 69 a month before and we were still trying to build a squad that could do the run. A friend managed to grab a barb from Nefarious, (back then they were actually nice people and a good faction to aspire to), and we ran the instance 5 times back to back because we had so many people with tabs that needed it. (Did not even use up all the tabs, but at least everyone got the bosses for their quests.) Oh the hours we spent in those runs.

    What I wouldn't give for PWI to be returned to those days when the community was actually mostly decent. When achieving level 90 actually meant something. When people actually knew how to play.

    Id have to say running fb/culti 59 (valley of disaster) with my 2 irl friends. It was me as a 59-61 psy, my friend as a barb at like 59-61, maybe 62... and my friend as a cleric at just 59... We trio'd the dungeon with no wine, and it took 2 days (yes, this was before they added that stupid 4 hour time limit **** b:angry). We started it on saturday, all went to sleep around 2-4 am that sunday mornin, woke up a few hour later and finished the rest of it. Luckily we didnt all disconnect when we did go to sleep. The cleric kept the dungeon the way we left it (me and the barb disconnected tho). And now these days everyone "needs" high ends to do such things for them... they "need" BB to even run that dungeon... funny thing is... that dungeon is specifically culti so you can GET BB in the first place... lol b:chuckle

    Dunno the any specific moment. But i do remember i thought the game was really really marvelous when i was in my 20s, 30s and 40s doing the FBs with teams where everyone was the level range we were supposed to be.

    Unfortunately it seems i have been lucky at that time to find people willing to do it at the level your supposed to do it without high level help. So later i became like all of us and started to play the game just because of the addicting greedy want for better items, grinding, merchanting, power leveling new characters for specific roles like a zhenning seeker and a whole squad of buffing characters.

    I met the closest person I've been with in pwi on Land of Burning Heart. I was an 8x veno grinding a pet when I keep seeing a barb pulling mobs near my area. When I checked his gear it was 8x like me as well. I was like ''what;s a barb doing aoe pulling outside of fc?''

    As I see him in that area for days like I was, I was thinking why was he not like most of the other barbs on his level and be a total fc junkie.

    I keep bumping on him during bh runs, until after 1 bh run he asked me if I was busy cause he needed someone to distract the mobs on the cauldron near burning heart. I swatted mobs while he was digging.

    After that event we exchanged friend invites. He was my go to barb when things got rough and I was looking for a tanker as I was his first pick on any squad he made.

    Sadly he quitted last September due to a bych called real life

    my best memory or should i say memories were practically everything i did as a little noob jus figuring out this game, from wandering everywhere to see this stunning world to doing my first bh, bh 19; to getting squads for mini boss all over the map and getting full squads jus to kill quest mobs because people actually did their quests back then and the questing areas were jampacked and of course meeting friends back in 2010 that i still do stuff with and talk to now, its amazing how much sentimental values a game can leave you with, these values most people will cherish forever and that i Thank PWE for tht even though they're gradually ruining the game we all came to love.

    One of the first good memories i have was the try to leap quest :P

    b:chuckle Oh god back then we all loled when people fell from that stupid rock, then to the other rooftop and then to the fricking place where the chest was :P

    Another one would be my first time trying to solo the fricking FB 19 at level....19! Needless to say i was toasted XD

    Oh and following Ence's Quest Guides :P Those were the best quest guides IMO :P

    And One day i saw this Weird player with this 'GM' RED Letters and stars and **** :P

    I ask him :'Dude how did you get those stars??'

    Dude reply: 'Those are GM only '

    me: 'What is a GM'

    Dude:'WTF seriously? '

    That was the day i came to know what the glubbing hell was a GM and what they did/do in game :P

    venos can actually solo their own fb 19 if they get a good pet, just takes so long. When i tried to solo my fb 19 I died before I could even injure a mob b:chuckle

    My best memory is of a faction I was in back in 2009, which is now sadly deceased b:sad

    Funny thing is questing was a pain cause of too many people back then, especially in the lvl 20-50ish lvl zone.
    Now it's a rare sight indeed to see anyone questing beyond level 70 I would say.
    Would love to see people in pve...

    Fixed it for you. Having recently started a new toon from 0 and spending a week getting it to 70 (Without FCC, and with barely even any BH's), there's no reason to do regular quests after you hit archosaur. Most of the leveling came from things like the Goshinki chain and just doing cultvation quests.

    I think I ran into a grand total of 5 people doing that.

    Hmm, three best memories I think.

    I'm not into online relationships and barely believe they're real. They're a different type of friendship and comparing an online friendship and a rl friendship is like comparing apples and oranges. I have deep personal discussions with online friends that I don't with rl friends, but still feel closer to my rl friends and like strangers to the online person I just shared some feelings with.

    Anyway, meeting the only person in game I've bothered to marry and then grinding for 3.5 hours for level 25-35 ish was definitely fun and a good memory. We then played together daily, hung out, talked, and just had fun for another 2 years. Wasn't romantic, but its still a good memory meeting a friend.

    Second was being a level 60? BM in 2-3. My faction had a super pro level 88 barb and level 90 cleric with +6 refines (that was really pro back then, honestly) an did a 4 hour 2-3, including the last boss. I think that was my first time ever using vent. After 4 hours, and being the main dd, we finished the instance. It felt like such an accomplishment and big step in the game.

    Third, getting 2 socket deicides. Not many BM had aps in the game yet so getting Deicides meant I was 4.0 sparked, and getting 2 socket meant I was one of the top DDs. It was pro gear and people drooled over them. I linked them to about 30 people when I got them and then sprinted in circles around my house dancing.
    Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory

    My best memory is my pc's internal hard drive. It has 1 Tb of capacity. I forgot it's transfer rate, but it's a SATA hard drive, and I also forgot its RPM, sorry. b:chuckle
