So recently all I've really been seeing is a whole load of QQ from people about R9 players.
There's a sheer lack of anything actually constructive being suggested or mentioned about it. Just that R9's are too OP - the gap is too big between that and T3 G16 nirvana and its no fun.
While I think it's easy to say "well you dont have to go if you dont want to/ dont enjoy it", (and I have said it) nothing is really going to stop this mass out break of QQ.
So rather than a whole load of people making their own threads about how bad nation wars is, and how unbalanced the game is etc. why dont we think of ways to make this particular instance which has brought on so much outcry from the community better.
My first suggestion - Tier Nation wars so that R9 and t3 squads go in a set of nation wars different of that to everyone else.

i think fuzzy is going to see what he can do to get an NW section on the forumsPhysically Disabled Gamer ~ I play with nerve damage and loss of motor skills in my whole body which makes it a bit harder to play the game. Yet I have fun and love to make friends.

A seperate NW for the so called op geared player would certainly spice things up, let them hammer the hell outta each other for bragging rights b:chuckle. And on the plus side would open up a more exciting NW for everyone else i would hope anyways and hopefully make more players of lower levels come in and enjoy the NW experience, it really can be fun with the right people/squads and teamwork...
On a side note i truly would love to see some kind of response to the afk alts in NW. While i understand the whole nation blocking thing, (interesting tactics) as far as i remember there is an official 2 accounts online only on PWI (correct me if this has changed) so isnt it about time this was addressed in all fairness...101 Sage Veno - Retired

Wouldn't that just mean people who are still gearing up would find the maximum they can have before being shifted to the higher tier, and equip that to meet the requirements? And then since there isn't a gear lock, they can swap to the higher grade stuff once inside.Fist are the worst at PvP AND PvE, if you disagree, as I said, take it to PM's or make your own guide. I don't agree with separate NW maps for different tiers of players.
1. It weakens the event for those of us who do sometimes manage to hit above our weight. I imagine it also makes it less interesting for those R9+ that like chalenging themselves by taking on multiples. For all it takes away from the surprise and variety of playing all sorts of oponents, which does to some degree offset class imbalance. Also, it may mean friends don't get to participate together.
2. It is potentially more troublesome in terms of abuse/exploits, especially once people figure the upper gearing allowances for any given tier. I think that far from making the event more inclusive this could encourage leetist attitudes.0 -
NW map is going to be bigger (with 6 lands around HQ instead of 4) and they are adding towers of some sort. There's not much point in QQ when changes have already happened in PWCN and we're just waiting for them to make their way here.

How do you decide what "tier" players go in? For example my own gear has tt99, g13, g14, g15 and g16 parts. Also soulforce isn't really a great measure. For example my +10 deicide seems to add more soulforce than my +10 g16 claw, probably due to double garnet gems in the deicide and 1 socket nothing in the g16. But deicide is vastly inferior.
Unfortunately I think squadding in general needs to go. As much as I love going in with faction/friends and being able to battle as a group, it's not worth it when r9r's can simply sit outside your base and lock it out for 2 hours.0 -
I'd like to see a Server vs. Server system with 4 Tiers based on the average soulforce in the squad. Max 250/side..
This would make things interesting. Doing a Tiered approach within a single server would make it less competitive and less fun imo.0 -
First of all the NW is glitchy and buggyHey everyone,
We're aware of the issues regarding mass disconnections during NW, as well as players being unable to participate during NW.
At this point, we believe we've determined that the problem is related to our server hardware in our East Coast datacenter, and we are in the process of upgrading that hardware.
I am so sorry for these interruptions; I know how important Nation Wars is each week, and the engineers and PWI Team are working as fast as possible to fix this.
I will keep you posted as I learn more.

UPDATE: This fix will be pushed out with our next content update, so unfortunately, it will be a little while before it goes live.

i dont really think having tiers would work seem like there wouldnt be enough players for it tho i could be wrong. and the only qq i have aobut r9 or jsut "op" geared people is them ******** that only r9 or g16 should be allowed to play and telling everyone elsee to gtfo its open to level 60 be thankful some of the low levels are scared they wont have fun or make money[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Actually he did. Try reading before calling people out..As far as Fuzzy can see, how players choose to approach the content does not really make it fail on the part of PWI for providing it.
At first the panda was supposing that the number of NW threads would calm down as people became more familiar with the instance however this would not seem to be the case. ok so i made a thread about this before but i say get rid of the going in squad getting in same nation lots of r9s out there just don't have all the r9 3rd cast in same nation QQb:chuckle0

From my stand point, R9 is pretty much equal to G16 Nirvana. Yes, there are some differences, and there will always be. Is R999 OP? Yes. Are you able to still kill them? Yes. Simply learn your class. That's all it comes down to.
Oh wait, you already know your class? Just because you know what to do in PvE, doesn't mean you know jack **** about PvP. That's what most of the QQing is about. You have a choice to come to NW or not. PWI is practically giving you raps and cannies to up your gear, yet all people do is come on here and QQ. To be honest, when all is said and done, no matter what they do. The four nations with NEVER be "fully even". One nation will always have more OP people than the others, because lets just face it, not all gear is 100% the same, not all builds are the same, and not everyone can play their class the same.Archer Build:

I dont understand why people say r9s are OP. R9s are NOT OP r9s with Sexy Refines and Shards are OP. There is a huge difference between +10 and +12 refines. a g16+12 fully is more OP than a r9+10 with same sharding. g16 is virtually worth ****, so get it..
I agree with what Ragz but there are some exceptions, you can be best pker of the game but to stop a r999+12 josd barb with cata build from capping the flag, you need good coordination with the other people in the fight from your nation along with some good arcane DDs.. But since there are not many such geared people on any server yet, i guess it does not matter much.
+1 to the point about whatever they do it won't be fully balanced,0 -

It would be a great Idea but remember, in essence we are competing for, well, better gear. If you tier it, your should have a choice to mix mode or tier mode and the rewards should change with that choice. NW is heck of fun. ( minus glitches ) and R9 archers, thats my only complaint. Also to be an R9 archer and to kite when I almost kill you, not nice when u fighting a mystic r8/g15. Just take it and die. O, And GM's, If you read this, PLEASE I am tired of CLIENT CRASH after entering into a map and changing my distance back to what it should be. I am only changing distance, not full graphics. then I have to relog and start back at base and wait 10 minutes to get into my second fight. errr.. anoying. Sorry for the rage peeps. Have fun.0

Why is it always about R9 archers? R9 sins with decent refines 1 hits most AAs, and R9 wizzies drop BIDs or BT on a big group and 1 shot everyone, yet noone seems to ever mention them. How about the fact the R9 barbs can just stand there and practically afk with half of your NW team on them and they still don't die. I personally don't see why there is so much QQ over 1 class. Yes R9 archers are OP, but so is any other decently refined R9 out there that actually has half a brain and knows what to do in PvP.
I still don't understand why people are complaining about the rewards. PWI is GIVING YOU FREE RAPS AND CANNIES. God damn they are 1 step away from handing your R9 like private servers and still SOO much QQ. It's starting to get to the point where I just wish they took Nation Wars away and see what everyone does.Archer Build:
