Why am I being charged extra?

I live in Texas why is it saying this? o.o;

    I think I may actually know the answer to this~
    My bank charged me $0.05 extra per purchase.
    And every time I bought from a foreign based game I got charged as well.
    It's because the game is apparently based in London, that's why.
    Basically it's a charge to transfer and convert currency.
    Depending on your bank the charges will vary.

    Because PWI is based in London and London uses a different currency, my bank charges me $1 for foreign purchases.

    Hmm..I can't access the support page when I'm logged in. :c
    The webpage at http://www.perfectworld.com/login/?src=rn&returnTo=0&error=7&lang=en has resulted in too many redirects.

    I've deleted my cookies and still cant, but I could go to the support page when I was logged out.

    Did you submit tickets at time of purchase for all of those? @OP you can submit a ticket also by emailing them at customerservice@perfectworld.com.

    tbh the zhen charge system is totally screwed, i use to be charged in USD fair enough as its a US company, but now i get charged in EUROS and receive the EURO foreign exchange tax, despite living in the UK when technically i should pay in GBP and not receive any foreign exchange tax. but i think i get charged in EUROs because of the silly french and german servers that no body uses lol

    Are you serious? I've been getting bank charges for almost two years. b:angry It says the same thing that it is a foreign transaction fee. I've never questioned it because I knew PWI was from China so I assumed that the fee was correct.
    I know I've racked up more than $200 in that stupid transaction fee. b:cry

    This is why we are getting charged a fee. When you make a direct credit/debit card purchase it goes through moneybookers/skrill which is located in the UK. Or at least mine does. Is it suppose to be doing this?

    I live out in the boonies, we don't have a 7/11 (sad I know). Only one store in town carries PWI cards and they don't keep many in stock. Plus it's easier to do a direct payment. I'm usually on in the middle of the night, too hard getting to the store then. Think I might just have to break down and get a paypal account. I don't think I'll get a fee that way.

    Yeah if the fee is from Skrill then that is because Skrill is located there. Try Google or Paypal instead, both will route you through the US.

    There is no fee on Srill or Moneybookers like it was named when I used it. Well, I suppose there is fee when you transfer money there but I use Nordea and got free, instant upload to there, right bank ftw! But seriously, Id so much rather paid 100$ than 90e, too bad I cant choose that option. The exchange rates, if I would pay the same value of money, Id be paying 75e so I really wouldnt be complaining bout 3$ fee <.<.

    It's an fee overseas fee charged by money bookers , their HQ is somewhere along the sides of the European continent. Best part is they sent me an email asking to submit confidential documentation after 2 years of use lol,I refused to do so and they banned me from using their service. Paypal is your best friend, still get the zhen bonus and no fee's, the only issue with PayPal is they take almost 3 business days to charge your bank account the money.
