Did you get -0.1 int on the chest and shoes. At least -0.15 int on the combination of shoes and chest?

Make a pwcalc link for your current gear attributes on r8r and old aps gear. That will make things clear for people.

You do realize that there is a percentile chance to get any of the mods on any of the Rank 8 Recast items regardless of which part of the body slots it goes on?

Basically you can get the -0.05 INT mod on the dagger up to 3 times, and each time it occurs at exactly a 0.13% chance. That's 3 separate rolls with a 99.87% chance of missing the target goal.

Likewise the Body Armor can get the -0.05 INT mod up to 3 times (I think), and each time it occurs at exactly 1.72% chance. That is a separate roll for each occurrence with a 98.28% chance of missing the target goal.

The boots have a 0.16% chance to get an INT mod and has to roll each possible INT mod separately, so that is a 99.84% chance at failure for each roll.

So that's roughly an average chance of failure equal to 99.33% when aiming for INT mods specifically, so is it any real big surprise that you failed to get Interval when upgrading your gear?

Oh, I see what your talking about. That is one of the set bonuses for the Assassin Rank 8 Recast Armor. The -0.1 Interval that appears after the words "Armor of the Ocean (4)" only applies once, regardless of how many pieces of Armor it appears on. It is just like any other Set Bonus, you have to have a certain number of items from the specified set (in this case 3 items from the set) equipped in order to benefit from it.

Therefore in order to gain the necessary APS to go 5.0 you may actually need to have obtained some of the APS boosts from the recasting modifications themselves.

EDIT: so used to saying rank 9 recast that I goofed and called this the rank 9 recast. Sorry for that.

how is it not helpful? It explains what happened to your APS doesn't it? I mean I admit that its probably not the answer you wanted to hear, but it does answer your question, right?

Oh and yes, it is entirely possible to go 5.0 Sage now.

You need stats like these on your r8 recast to be 3.33 base again. You are missing -0.1 int basically.

just an after thought why put the attribute on each piece only to not get it.. seems to give false hope in achieving the required desire

Because it's a simplified version of the view you would get in-game?

If you ask me, it's pretty clear, considering that the name of the set is after the regular bonuses and there's a number in front of it.
I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Please, take a second to read a person's username.
