Why is PWE overcharging in boutique on mysterious chips?

Just curious if anyone else has noticed during the whole time the sale has been going on that if you didn't check you'd be paying an extra silver for a stack of 100. I know it's not a lot, but for those purchasing vast quantities that might have overlooked it ... it adds up.

Stack of 50 = 12 silver
Stack of 100 = 25 silver
12+12 =/= 25 silver

Why exactly is the cost higher for purchasing more? b:shocked

It's not the only thing they overcharge for. Take a look at the regular mat prices. Or do the math on the SoF.

And yet, people are still stupid enough to buy it.
Take the time to look for your answer before you post like an idiot.

    And then there is us.

Yes, pricing schemes like this one are actually quite common. You could look at it as either a special discount for attentive players or as a tax on stupid...

or a 1 silver cost for a click less fee >> larger merchants who dont mind that would use it, as the chips itself isnt the thing thats usually targeted as merchandise

100 click is 1 gold so the cost for merching 100+ General summer tokens adds up quite quick, so (smart) merchants will always do more work to gain more profit

Same reason there a 50% sale on 1* orbs even though there a 50% off sale on Dragon fire packs, to see if anyone is stupid enough to actually buy the worse deal.
full 3r9 +11/12 (still using immac shards though) w/o CSing, leveled to 105 spaming pv, yes i have no life =D

Yeah, noticed too, but tough that it was normal for the boutique to have that kind of pricing.

    I mean, come on.

They sell mats there for 2 gold?

    What the motherglubbing hell?

That **** lies on the ground!

But yeah it is a bit odd to have it like that.

I being the cheapskate i am, went and bought the 12 silver ones. But dunno bout others.

    so in conclusion its either:

    A) they made a mistake
    B) china told them to do it
    C) pwe did it on their own hoping no one would complain too much about it.

    b:cute pick

I would like to view the chips more as packs in the sense, buy more of them and get more of a discount. If memory serves correct though it was just always double the cost if you got the 100 stack instead of 50, so no discount, but less clicking. I suppose you could view it more as a laziness charge, it just seems odd since that's not how they did the chips ever before that I recall.

To the rest as far as legendary pet materials in the exact quantities vs the packs with varying amounts or mats for manufacturing ... those have more of a laziness and impatience aspect to them. The chips vs some of the other items just don't stack up the same way to me. Sure there are plenty of ways to go cheaper (wardrobe and cupboard stones for example), this I just think is shifty ... after thinking about it potentially even an oversight with rounding ... no idea really, only the company would be able to answer for sure as to what the deal with it is. Not that I'm holding my breath for that to happen. b:surrender
