user account control advice for ppl who cant play the game

If you cant play the game because of the user account control (typing up the administrator of the computer's password) here is what you have to do b:pleased Instead of doing the usual Patcher to start the game, do this; go to your Perfect World international folder>element>elementclient this starts up the game without the need of UAC b:laugh elementclient and patcher are not different, so you will still have the same gaming experience :D

    There is a difference. Running throgh element don't update your game files.
    You will have to run the patcher eventually anyway - the game updates sometimes (on most wednesdays there is smaller or bigger update) and the game might refuse to run because its going to be not up to date.

    Personally I run my game through element everyday but let it run through patcher at wednesdays.

    Ohh right i forgot about the update. Well wat i do is just use my laptop (which is old) then update everything there. After that i go back to desktop and play the game b:laugh

    Out of curiousity, how does updating the files on your old laptop manage to simultaneously update the files on your desktop? Unless you have a very advanced network between the two where you can update the game on one from the other, I don't see that working... That said, it is a viable idea that could arguably work, but not everyone is going to have access to an inter-office administrative grade network.

    good question :) im sorry i did not add that I'm using a hard drive (which is like a big usb). The game is in the hard drive so i can acces the gam on any computer. (hence updating it on my old laptop then play it on my computer)
