vile drake fling

So managed to get the first one killed by killing his buddies and then standing in the water so he would not summon them again. Then basically spam ih and purify on the tank (archer).

Umm, how do you kill the vile version as he put some nasty aoes and wiped squad basically and we gave up:( so if I am ever back there, what do we do to get him killed short of an all +12 supersquad?

    Yea, need really strong people for him. Vile:Drake Fling hits comparable to harpy wraithb:shocked and also has a massive ranged aoe one shot. The aoe is mag damage i think, when i first did him after update, we had one person, a seeker, tank it directly on land, while cleric healed in water from max range, everyone else basically died. being in water halves the aoe damage, but still was too much for everyone other then the r9 seeker and cleric

    Wow, considering they made lunar before they made rank 9 and that lunar origin was for lv 95 stuff. I geuss the vile ones are new but still.

    Now I feel dumb, did alittle searching and found another thread on exactly this boss. I think perhaps he was just too hard hitting for the squad I was in.

    What I didn't find was anything about the vile boss relic of wind. Has anyone done him? Whats he like and does he drop defense essences too?

    Both Vile Relic and Vile Primal are much easier than Drake. All three drop Essences of Defense.

    Vile Relic has a strong ranged magic attack and can seal and debuff, but isn't too much trouble. I usually melee him with fists while my tag-a-long cleric is on a heal/purify macro.

    Relic is super easy, its a good route to take if your squad is not really strong, drops the unknown tinders on the regular one. All three of the final vile bosses give def essences

    I believe vile drake fling is phy aoe. Magic aoe hit my bm for quite a bit, not enough to kill. My usual response on new bosses is mag def charms+phy marrow.
