Returning to the game...

I quit the game soon after TW Map reset due to irl issues. Vindi had the map before reset. Sanc Server. R9 dominated PK. Caster nirvy was new ish. Faction Trials had JUST come out 1month before i left.

I am planning on returning soon but the forums are so confusing... Whats changed?

Can you give me a quick overview on the game and how things are?

    Whats the best "cheap endgame" affordable to everyone now (poor sin)?

    If vana is dead... can i get tier 1 vana stuff super cheap?

    Is R93/Vana 3 necesary for PVP or does no one have it yet? also is it dificult to get? Also is r9 normal easier to get?

    Vana 3 is easy to get (well need the molds but still relatively easy).

    R9 is no easier to get than before but R9 recast is much much easier to get than before. So basically you get a cheap upgrade once you make the inital plunge to get r9.

    No idea what a sin needs for PK but R9 is pretty good I'm sure.

    Vindicate is still one of the strongest factions on Sanc but the playing field's a bit more level this season.

    On my server normal fc's still exist, so you should have some on yours as well.

    Normal FCCs seem to be more common now.

    Well, since someone has to say at least something positive... There's a new world for lvl 95+ players called Morai... It has some fun stuff to do...

    But seriously... *pats on the back* I wish you good luck trying to find a way to enjoy youself in this game how things are now... Morai might keep you busy for a while but after that... Well, you'll see for yourself... b:surrender

    is it THAT bad?

    Game was deteriorating when I first left with all the r9 and such cash shop power creep (I'm a more pk person but i have TT80 and such) and was finding it dificult to even find pk with my level because i couldn't even assassinate R9 mages from stealth with full chi...

    I managed because I was able to stunlock slaughter most R8 and even Vana squishies though if they were charmed it would take forever.

    Well, your a sin, so pvp was incredibly easy against ungeared people. Why though would you ever expect to be able to kill an r9 mage with tt 80 though? thats just not gonna happen.
    There is almost no open world pk anymore, but twice a week there is nation wars, huge pk event in which everyone participates. R9 people with high refines still dominate, and you cant beat that without being geared like them, thats how game works. However, they implemented a 3rd cast vana, which is as good, and in some cases better then r9, and now incredibly cheap to get because of nation wars. However, they implemented a 3rd cast r9 with 3rd cast vana, which is also now alot cheaper to get, so the old r9 people are all getting it, even if it is really ugly looking.
    Honestly, the game is balancing itself out again, and is become fun again. Nirvana deserved to die, being an instance dominated by full 5.0 assassin and blademaster +10 squads, who could finish a run in 5 minutes. Nation Wars has replaced it as way to make $, even if it is pvp based. The people who are complaining on the forums, are mainly people who lost money by merchanting, or feel their right to easy farming as a sin has been nerfed. These sins, who also used to dominate open world pk because of stealth and picking off easy targets 1 v1, are upset that they get killed easily in NW because of having enemies everywhere, and being targeted after they appear, along with having aps gear which doesnt provide much defense. The solution to them is simple, lose the aps gear, refine armor, not just weapon, and use chill of deep and stun locks to get kills, however, with their monopoly on easy money making gone, they dont realise this, and rage on.

    I think the game is better then it has been in a long time. NW is loads of fun, and everyone, even noobs, can make some easy money. The gear is somewhat balanced again, and becoming more so, allowing pvp to be somewhat fair, reminiscent of days long past before packs and fcc when people had mixed 3 star, npc, and mid level tt gear. Honestly, i think the game is making a comeback, the only thing that has gotten worse is the lack of money from low lv dq drops, and delta

    The game is obviously dead and not welcoming for new players.
    refer-a-friend was pwi's last desperate attempt to get some new players.
    But PWI is doomed to fail, with their staff and how they messed this game up there is noone they can blame but themselves.
    I moved on to play another MMo, just checking in the forums if the game is still going and I dont want to miss than epic moment whey they admit defeat and announce that the game is dead after treating the playerbase like a bunch of donkeys.
    In the end is their loss, and abit of mine to,
    I enjoyed the game like so many other while it lasted, and even today the PWI staff still only think about their precious money so i guess there will be no comming back either.
