    The only reason I got BV before Awaken pre-patch was because of the ridiculous CD on Awaken.

    when i got my first 100 skill 2 months or so ago, i chose bloodvow, because it was only 5 minute cooldown, as opposed to 15 minutes on awaken. Now both cooldowns have been reduced, bloodvow to 2 minutes and awaken to 5 minutes. Bloodvow has some great uses, but require certain conditions to be used effectively. The hardest part of playing a pvp archer is the constant lack of chi, especially after a death. With low cooldown, definately go with awaken, instant full chi? b:dirty

    Definitely awaken. Blood Vow has its situational uses (namely barbs; r9 bms etc), but Awaken is always useful. Even when not in combat, even in cube, even anywhere when you want chi. I imagine especially if demon.

    Awaken. Before the skill changes, the cooldown was too bothersome and blood vow was far more useful in general because of it.

    Now that the cooldown's been reduced, however, awaken is far more useful in various situations.... and can actually be used instead of always being on reserve for in case you need the chi.
