How are NW rewards calculated?

So some people tell me that you need a minimum of 2k contributions to get anything.

Today I played and got 2.3k personal credits and the nation came third, but got 0 tokens for reward.

Some one please explain/clarify this for me so I know how it works?

    How much total coins did your nation get? There's no minimum. You just get a cut of the rewards. Since your score is so low, there probably wasn't any left after the reward was split among the top scorers in your nation.

    oh okay, we didnt have much, lol i get it now though, thanks for clearing that up :)

    Or maybe you do something wrong i got 3.5k points on my cleric level 77 while I get one shot constantly and you are a barb 100, maybe try something else, example: if you always just carry the flag to the base try next time to ''PvP'' (kill people) which give more points.

    Friday runs are already notorious for being alot harder to get stuff on for the majority of players that aren't the 105th s2&3 crowd, then the Sunday runs are....b:thanks

    I was on {HT~servers} 'Light Nation' tonight and still didn't get squat after the run tonight, but oh well, thats the way it goes sometimes...


    ((Maybe PWe/i ~ Will make the ratings somewhat fairer (aswell as insure a fairer spread of the High-end Players too all nations) sometime soon, but until then we all gotta roll with them punches))


    Gratz on the win tonight Frost... That last ditch grab you guys did for the territories was a total b*t*h' too try and stop once you guys started it....

    Personal theory - completely out of my ***:
    You're ranked within your nation, within your class. (You can see a 'ranking' in your stats, and my absolute guess is this is what ist is. There's no WAY I was 26th across all people in my nation; but the 26th best veno in my nation? That's not unreasonable)

    Total tokens are then divided out between nations based on nation score (which seems to be, pretty much, territories held * time held) and within your nation, by ranking, similar to e.g. public quest.

    That's almost a total guess; lots of other possibilities exist. But you do seem to see a lot of the overpopulated lcasses complaining about low rewards...

    I played on my lvl 101 barb yesterday, about 40 min during NW, no charm and then logged out. I got 46 tokens for that. I am still trying to figure out the algorythm of NW rewards.

    We don't exactly know just yet. However, some people are getting close to cracking the formula.

    That equation is a little odd but it works for all values in these pictures:

    Total Tokens Awarded seems to be based on participation with certain thresh hold values. I'm not sure what those values are though.

    Too bad this equation isn't quite useful yet but hey its progress!

    My guess is that the equation for distributing Tokens across a nation based on personal score could be a similar form...

    Or you just simply assume he does it on his barb..when hes in fact not. b:shutup
    However I support the theories that are rumouring about it being class based...it seems
    the more u dig around for info, the clearer it becomes that u're not only based on ur normal
    nation/personal credit..but also amongst others in ur class inside the nation. But that's just my assumption aswell after readin others comments on here in spread threads.

    the nation score is based on the credits, your nation win 1 credit every time you get a land, nation dont loose credit when a land is lost, and i believe that if defenders win a fight nobody gets credit(i noticed that when dark nation started defending our lands, we didnt get more credits even tho we won lots of fights)

    or perhaps each land give you credit over time, but i would have to keep map up for too long to keep track of this

    I dual-logged a 100 mystic and a 61 cleric for yesterday's nw just to see how the rewards would be calculated. Mystic was in flame, cleric was in light (losing nation?). I only played the cleric when my mystic was running to a territory or when the base was blocked. In the end, cleric got ~50 tokens, mystic got ~30. .____. It's really weird considering that I dd'd and debuffed my *** off on my mystic and just buffed and ran around on my cleric.

    i semi understand how the rewards go, im more curious if its really random to which nation u spawn into. ive had 3 straight NW's on the light side. last night we came in dead last, got 30 tokens. last sunday we won, got 104, last friday came in second and got 90. it doesnt seem that the amount of land u have plays into figuring the rewards. looking at my saved screen shots, the night we came in first, frost had the most lands at the end but ended up 3rd in rewards.

    Last NW I didn't actively kill people, but just went for the flags and got 411 tokens with our nation in 1st place. I know for a fact my kill count was a lot less than most people this time around and I still had one of the higher scores. So I am thinking that there is a different formula than just how many kills you got. It may be based on total damage dealt and received. When I did attack it was with my aoe's and pulling the flag I was taking a lot of damage as well.

    Its possible that kills are the only thing that counts along with flag captures, but I think there is more to it than that. Or at least hope there is.

    I do know that you get 1 point for each land you take and dont ever lose any. Im not sure if you defend if its worth anything. I do know that the amount of lands only updates like every 10-15 min (wanting to say 15). With that being said keep this in mind... the last time the NW land will update is 2015, after that 1 2 3 4 place is picked among nations. The last 5 min goes toward personal credits only

    I am curious to know I was with a friend in NW, we both were in light, he got a higher personal contribution, yet I got tokens, and he didnt? Anyone know why? I took my lvl 97 archer into and he was a lvl 84 barb. He got somewhere around 2400 personal credit and I only got 1414 personal credit.
