If it was in fact their servers, more people would be reporting this problem and more than just you.
The fact that your internet is 'strong', though with no evidence of this, still means nothing if there is a problem between you and the servers along one of the many hops. Then this is neither you nor PWI.
Maybe somethings wrong with your client?
You can't just accuse the servers of being faulty when you haven't listed or shown you've checked anything else when no one else is having the same problem as you.0 -
1).Restart your PC and network hardware.
2).Check your bandwidth @ http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/
3).Post a copy of your traceroute to PWI servers
4).Make sure ports 29000-30000 are open.
5).Check to make sure there are not a lot of other programs and processes running in the background as well. You can just try disabling other running programs.
6).Run As Admin
7).The player traffic could be causing issues for you.
Does this happen in a specific area in the game or does it not matter where?

more ppl have complained and reported it ik personaly 46 other ppl haveing the same problem at the same times i do so i dont think its coincidence when all of us live in completely different locations around the globe and ik i sure dont spend hundreds here to have to dc every few moments being unable to talk to people quest or do anything in game.0 -
I've had no issues sans the rare occasional DC maybe 2 or 3 times a week.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I know for a fact that the PWE Servers have a connection MUCH better than yours.
I know for a fact that the strength/quality/speed of your internet connection has absolutely nothing to do with what happens to the signal in between you and PWI.
And this was posted this ago, and it's been repeatedly posted/quoted since, but no one seems to get it. So, for the sake of beating a dead horse, here it is again...SylenThunder - Sanctuary wrote: »People are starting to hate me for posting this over and over, but damnit, there's just nothing better to say until I have more information and it's partially educational as well.....
Common reasons that you can't connect to the servers, experience disconnects, or just have lag in general...
1. You don't have the three .exe files for the client set to run as administrator.
2. You don't have the game directory set as an exception in your security softwares.
3. Your network adapter driver is out of date and needs to be refreshed.
4. Your local area network settings are improperly configured.
5. You have more than one firewall and don't realize it.
6. Your firewall settings are too strict. (Very common with ZoneAlarm and Commodo firewall.)
7. Your router is configured improperly.
8. you have a bad network cable.
9. You're using a wireless network connection. (Which leads to another huge list.)
10. You have a lot of traffic on your local network that is bogging your router/modem down.
11. There's a fault in your router.
12. There's a fault in your modem.
13, You have a bad phone cord plugged into your modem.
14. There's an issue with your house wiring.
15. There's an issue with your outside wiring.
16. A squirrel chewed on your phone line at the pole and it's raining. (I've had this happen personally.)
17. A switch/router at the CO for your ISP is having an issue.
18. One of the many hubs between you and PWI is having an issue. (most common)
19. There is heavy sunspot activity. (has happened within the past two years)
20. There's a regional router outage. (Has happened several times, most recently just a couple of months ago.)
That's just a few. The more details you give, the better I can narrow it down and tell you what the issue is.
Also, post a copy of a traceroute to the server.Take the time to look for your answer before you post like an idiot.

And then there is us.

My disconnection problem started yesterday. When ever i have 2 clients running it always disconnect .. N E one having the same problem. Some time only one client get disconnect.
I did not install n e thing new to my computer or did anything it just happen during this last two day.0 -
I laugh every time I see you guys say run traceroute, cannot be pwi. Sorry to inform you guys, but pwi IS sometimes the fault. Don't come off telling everyone it's them and not pwi because that is a false assumption. If I run a traceroute and it stops AT pwi server, then it IS pwi server.0
-
It will stop at pwi becoz of PWI's firewall.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Lol. He's posting. That means he does know for a fact there is nothing wrong with his internet. Whether there is a connectivity issue to the server is a different issue.
I also come home to my shops being dc'd and when I logged on notice many of the other "regulars" around me were missing. I'm guessing it is in fact PWI servers. This is what happens when 2/3 of their players base only plays on Friday and Sunday night and logs 1-4 characters each.Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory0 -
It's better to have a discussion here Network and Connection Problems in order to get a response from GM. Plus have a look at this---> Disconnected for a few seconds to minutes?(ALL Games) ![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
