Never really been an option until now since nw and I got the mold. Should I stay g15 for the purge or should I go g16? I also plan on making an archer eventually.

Bow is a utility weapon and not your main source of damage. If it doesn't have bramble, dagger are usually more useful. If it does have bramble, purge will be kinda nice to have.

While I have the luxury of both, I'd suggest keeping a spirit blackhole bow instead of the G16.

For your sin, it really depends on what you're using the bow for.

Trying to purge a tanky target? Stick with a purge bow.
Trying to amp your dmg with something besides knifethrow? gg, g16.

Although, I myself would prefer a purge bow because 1. I don't find a bow particularly useful for damage and 2., you said you are making an archer. An archer quickshotting and apsing with bow will have an excellent use for purge proc.

For sins, it's better to stick with a purge bow, as that is the only thing you should be using a bow for. The only other option is if your target is running away with low health and your Knife Throw is on cooldown.

Other than that, bows don't do that much damage compared to daggers. I use a +10 G15 bow, and it doesn't do enough damage to be considered a higher edge in PvP.

I would be kind of funny to drop a running player with a bow as they run away lol

I did that in NW twice last night xD. Had like 0.4 APS with Demon Chill and R9 gear on and hit 5.4k crits on random targets to take them out since Jump/Tele/KT were on cooldown.

I actually find myself using a bow fairly often in NW for killing people.

And by killing, I mean trolling when they try to kite me but hey! XD

I suppose the "stealth factor" is nice for a bow. Yes, I know sins have stealth, but after you pop out of stealth and start twitching someone, people are going to react pretty fast.

People react slower to a bow (esp with arrows that don't have location markers, like the laser ones), and when they do, they usually instinctively look for archers.

Me and my friends had agreed to group PvP in SP.... I stealthed up onto one of the torches, and sparked. Took out 4 people before they knew where the ** I was. b:laugh
