Hey PW I have had a few weeks out from the the game when i came back i have problems updating the client, so i went on this site and looked at what to do and many threads said that it should be sorted after reinstalling, so i un-installed the game.

Now when i try and reinstall this game it doesnt run after waiting three hours for it to download i am disapointed that it just comes up with a note pad document with only this in it

[autorun]
open=Install.exe
icon=icon.ico

I can link an image but that is all in the note pad can anyone please help me how to resolve this problem i am really wanting to get started again and have not been able too due to computer issues and now this!

Is my game broken :( haha

    The download might have been corrupted or stopped, but some files might have gotten mixed up too.

    See if this solution works for you that a player suggested:

    1. Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs (Or Programs and Features, depending on what version of Windows you have), and un-install the Pando Media Booster.
    2. Restart/reboot your computer.
    3. Open your user folder.
    4. Open the Downloads folder. (Location varies depending on what OS you're using). Open the folder where it downloaded the game install files to. (Carefully check the file names.)
    6. Temporarily disable the active or real-time scan for your antivirus and/or firewall software.
    7. Click/run that file and it should run the installer. (If you're using Vista or Newer, Right-Click the file and select "Run as Administrator")
    8. Re-enable the active scan for your anti-virus software.
    9. Add the directory that the client installed the game to, to your antivirus software's exceptions list for active scans and scheduled scans.
    10. Reboot/restart your computer.
    11. Start the game and play!

    Hello again Sizzer. After yesterday's annoying problem, I decided to just leave it and re-install the whole game(Thinking it'd be a lot easier). But now I'm having the same problem he is and I tried what you posted but maybe I'm doing it wrong.. I'm unsure of some things. Like what am I looking for when I check the file's names? And the PWI_V676 installer can't be "Run as Administrator" (I am administrator). I already uninstalled Pando, twice and downloaded the game but got the same notepad message as tichystriker. I'm sorry..I'm the type of person that needs really really clear directions..lol

    Try to find install.exe file if you get it then simply double-click on it and it will start installing the game automatically. As for Run as Administrator problem Run as Admin and Compatibility Mode

    Try running the game as Administrator and/or changing Compatibility Mode. To run an application as an Administrator, you can right click on the game's shortcut and click Properties. If Run as Administrator pops up in the first menu after you right click, use that.

    To change the Compatibility mode, go to the Properties of your game (right click on the game icon), than go to the Compatibility tab and select Windows XP Service Pack 2 or 3 from the list.

    Changing UAC Settings

    If you are still experiencing issues, it may be necessary to disable User Account Control, also known as UAC because it may be blocking the game from downloading, installing, or updating. Please note that disabling UAC can make your system more vulnerable. If you do not see UAC options when typing it into the search boxes mentioned below, you will need Administrator rights to that computer o make those changes.

    - Disable UAC on Windows Vista

    1) Open up Control Panel, and type in UAC into the search box. You?ll see a link for Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off.

    2) On the next screen you should uncheck the box for Use User Account Control (UAC), and then click on the OK button.

    3) Restart your computer and the settings will take effect.

    - Disable UAC on Windows 7

    1) Windows 7 makes it much easier to deal with UAC settings, and in fact you don?t have to completely disable UAC if you don?t want to. Just type UAC into the start menu or Control Panel search box.

    2) Drag the slider up or down to change how wall UAC protects your system. You can experiment with lower settings or turn it off completely by dragging it to the bottom.

    3) Restart your computer.

    If UAC is turned on, you must have Administrator rights or the password to install, patch, and then run the game initially.

    Use The Knowledge Base before installing the game to avoid problems/issue. monkey-4.gif

    Go ahead try those steps stated above and Let me know did it worked or not.
