You should join any number of the growing factions in game, until you find one that you like. You'll never find a real faction on this subforum, this is purely a flame based subforum it seems

UnnameD has some nice people in it.

Well as far as I know Narnia is a great family faction. I'm not member of it myself but I've heard good things about it.

And there are so many factions around. I suggest you just ask around a little. Maybe ask the people you squad with or the ones you see lots around. Finding the right faction for you takes some time =p

I joined this faction 2 months ago or so and this is the only faction i really felt at home.
Leader is nice and allways helps out when he has time.He is also very active and fun to talk to just like our other members.

The only time i see our leader "throw a fit" is when someone joins the guild and then begs for money or fcc.Those people are kicked.

I dont know what kind of an experience you had or if u know him,but i never felt uncomfortable around him at all.

I dont think that we would have so many active people if Ard would be sooooo impossible to endure. lol

And WC has nothing to do with the faction or the way it is run.

(The first time i saw him "badmouth" someone in WC was 1-2 days ago btw. )

I didnt regret joining Immortal and wouldnt leave it even if id get paid.

Besides, yes I have never been in there. But I met him through a friend who used to be in there. And I was there when he ragekicked said friend from faction for him dying in BH, even after my friend offered to redo it, when it wasnt even her fault.

That does sound like him, in my experience he is a literal psychopath that manage to act nice here and there.

When deciding on a faction, it's probably a good idea to consider your own playing habits and style, then choose a faction that fits those most appropriately.

Some factions are comprised almost entirely of casual players who's playing time will be restricted to an hour or two daily (somewhat more on weekends). If you're a hard core player, you'll often be the only one online. When members are online, they'll probably be very helpful.

Some are variants of casual factions -- where the emphasis is on "family" (read: being social). These factions are usually fun to be in, but don't expect to learn much and expect a higher degree of squad wipes when doing faction runs.

And other factions are more seriously oriented, with an emphasis on TW, FCC, NW, etc. If you're a primarily social player (who doesn't put a premium on good gear) you probably won't even be allowed to join. Expect some elitism and not a lot of help with your quests.

Of course, many factions claim (or try to be) a blend of the three, usually with lesser degrees of success.

So, my advice is to not join any faction that does not suit your style or goals in the game.

Tip: avoid like the plague any faction founded and run by in-game boyfriends/girlfriends. These relationships often do not work out and when they don't the faction falls apart also.
