    This would be very awesome XD
    I saved it and will make sure to tell squadmates to check it out too.
    It was hellish trying to coordinate movements, but we tried very hard XD
    Though with the 20 attack/defender limit it's pretty tough to keep an entire squad together anyway, but it's still nice to be in the same Nation with friends.

    Modifying the game client is a violation of the terms of service agreement, and posting such modifications on this forum is a violation of the forum rules.

    I've spoken to Bubbles about posting the memory "patch", and I removed that thread.

    Let me be clear - if you are concerned about the way the game is run, if you see a glitch, a problem, anything - please submit a ticket to the staff AND send me a private message informing me of your concerns.

    I know you guys have good intentions with these modifications, so I'm not going to punish anyone at this time, but any future violations will not be tolerated.

    That said, Asterelle makes an excellent point regarding the map not being labeled. I'm going to see if we can get this addressed, as quickly as we can.

    I think I recall in the past a certain mod of the game client, that reverted the game from the new UI to the old UI, was posted by a player on the forums and then endorsed by gm

    Maybe until we can get it officially fixed, that can be done for this mod too

    the memory patch is far different than the old ui situation

    This is good to hear. I was hoping to draw a response with topic as it is a serious issue with the usability of NW and it is something very easy to fix.

    The exclamation mark is non-optional when addressing "Hey, you!" and neither is the capitalization. It's his name, after all. b:avoid

    mod is short for modification, any editing of the game from exacteley what it is when it was released is a mod

    Well technically yes, technically no...

    The term modding informally refers to a series of complex edits, not just a mere ini edit. It usually refers to things that can't be done while inside of the program. An ini edit is as simple as changing the distance slider in game.

    What's against the tos is modding the game files. Ini really isn't part of that because that's something you can change from inside of the game. The old ui kind of falls under that because there's supposed to be an ui switch button in game.
    The face and body edits didn't have the same permissions because those were edits that you can't do in game and that apparently pwe didn't want those edits.

    Isn't it just a matter of missing 1 overlay file? I do wish there was a way we could squeeze this into a quick update. If I recall, the servers don't need to be shut down in order for things to be updated in game. Every time the client is launched, it verifies the files present. If there is a minor update, it would take just a few seconds to upload and install it.

    I just dread poking around on the map again this weekend, blindly stabbing at potential wars to move to b:surrender

    EU side has already requested the labeled version from China for both US and EU. So far I don't think there was an answer yet, but I hope this should be taken care of shortly.
