The value of dq items was dropped to 1 coin with the last update, like myself, many people have had enough of PWE's **** and are leaving the game.

Till i will stay in DW will be always active...

Ok serious DW and maybe other 2 server of east cost have a small advantage, a better fuse for european and maybe asian user. Lost and others 3 server of west cost for exemple have tw at 5 AM for an europen.

Many EU playes start play on east cost server becouse EU server not was. And many are old and geared ppl that not mind to quit or switch on an EU server yet for restart all from 0.

About DW (my main server) not was so active lately many ppl back after expansion but is to say that DW have and HUGE amount of alt so the real ppl high level for me not pass 200 actually. Also true is full of lower and not cash ppl.

Every server is not like that. PK servers=deader because only cash shoppers survive. PVE servers=alive and well because non-cash shoppers ACTUALLY have a chance to become good without being pk'd all day long.

While I agree the DQ value drop was a bit excessive, especially to new players or those not able to farm 81+ level DQ, I don't see of as being the end of the world.

There are other farmable items people want or need, but one must be creative, and research what is desired at certain times. I created a character the day of the expansion, and don't plan on feeding it coins from my main, just so I can see the new challenges.

As for tje OP question, RT seems to have a stable population.

I didn't played a low level recently on HL, my main is high level so I don't know if low level stuff is active, I don't really pay attention. Also HL is PvP and people there kinda crazy and they don't mind to pk low level that quest over and over again, which I know is frustrating for some people that try to quest and level up.

I started new chars on both Lost City & Sanctuary a few months ago.

Lost City is virtually ALL end-gamers, and all activity is instance-based
for them. Any newcomers just power-level their way up in frost so
they don't stay low-level for long.

Trying to do my bh's, I usually get to do them maybe every couple of
days, when enough power-lvl'ers need their culti or something, and
then it's just following a 100+ alt around & watching him kill
    everything, lol.

The recent expansion has made it worse actually--if players
power-lvl'd before, they SURE are doing it now, lol.

Sanct is somewhat better, but not a whole lot. I haven't been on
there since NW came out though, so don't know if it's affected
    things there much or not.

Pretty much PWI is at end-game now imo--if you want to power-lvl up
and concentrate primarily on getting the gear--well, that's pretty
much what you have to want nowadays if you want to play with
    other people.

So it depends on what you want out of the game. If it's power-lvl'ing
to end-game asap, then you'll probably have a good time getting
all your gear, etc. If you want a more leisurely, "play the game to
level"-type of atmosphere, well, I honestly don't think you'll find it
here anymore. Unless you don't mind solo'ing all the time, lol.

Lat night during Nation war, there were 1200 people on (some 300 per nation) lets say that some 200-300 were alts half afk trying to get double reward... so id say on Dreamweaver there is still a good population.

The reason PvP servers tend to lose population over time faster than PvE servers in games that are aging is because of idiots that think pking low level players is fun. It detracts from the enjoyment level of new players who tend to give up in frustration.

Just look at the morons that PK low levels in SP whenever the PK glitch is active.

    Contradict yourself much?

The only people who really complain about SP PKing are PvE players on PvE servers. That doesn't really affect PK servers who already expect this and have dealt with it for the past, oh, 4+ years now.

How that affects PvP servers? Your statement is ludicrious.

You can run around in Harshlands as a low level and the chances are very high nobody will ever pk you expect for some hot spots. I runned Quests on my little toon for about 9 hours and i got pked once and that was after finishing an instance. I dont get it why people think just because youre on a pvp server it plays like quake arena.

This is what I find. I virtually NEVER get pk'd (on Lost City). The last few months,
I've just been making new chars, leveling them up till I'm tired of them, then
delete & start another. Among a dozen new chars I've started over the past
6 months, only ONE of them has ever been pk'd. And I play almost every day for
at least 5-6 hrs, at different times of the day.

There is NO ONE out in the world map--literally NO ONE. No players out there
questing, none out there pk'ing . . . just NO ONE out there. Even the former
    hot spots are empty.

When I started playing 3+ years ago, I could count on being pk'd at least once,
usually much more, whenever I logged on. We used to have to find a higher
level faction member to escort us to the Celestial guys on the platform at Heaven's
Tear because pk'ers were just waiting there for low levels to come in.

There were A LOT of hot spots back then: Orchid Temple, Hidden Orchid, Silver
Pool, Heaven's Tear, the swamps, Town of Arrivals, the Jade coast--well, suffice
it to say practically the WHOLE MAP was a hot spot, lol.

Now, maybe once or twice a week during play I'll see a green dot on my mini-map,
and it's turns out to be merely a player flying at max height back to Arch from
    Sanctuary or something.

No, pk is NOT a problem on the Lost City server anymore. Even West is empty
    90% of the time.

after this last update, waste of time to even play unless you're going to dump huge amount on your credit card. NW is just a ploy to keep people here so they can spend more money on rank 10 when it is released.

I think PW probably mis-timed some things along the 3-5 year
timeline for this game. But all in all, they did a pretty
decent job of guiding the player base in the direction they
    wanted.

Hindsight is 20/20, and I'm sure if they could go back, they
might do some things differently, but as it is, they still
didn't do too shabby a job.

I'd love to be privvy to the conversations of the top
decision-makers. As I see it, they can either stay the
course & continue on the current business model they
adopted for PWI; or (less likely) revamp the business
model and try to squeeze a few more years out of the game.
