Sometimes I just don't understand people of PWI.
I took a quest from Head Hunter, then I started to ask help from people by saying *I need help with BH in Frostcovered City, Fushma hunt*
Then someone says *I can help* so I invited him to Squad. Then I asked, you sure you can kill Fushma alone? And then he answered *Oh no, I thought you will* of course I kicked him out. Then I wrote to normal chat *I need help for BH Fushma, PM me. Someone who can read* and he starts to talk to me in private chat and calling me by bad names etc.. Sigh.
Telling me that I can't say such thing in normal chat. But I say like that in normal chat because, some people really just don't read carefully. PWI should make an event where some people win glasses.... That is all. Love to hear other people opinions or have this same thing happened with you as well.

Honestly, it sounds like you're not looking for help. It sounds more like you're looking for someone to do all the work for you.
The whole point of BH is to find a SQUAD of people to kill the bosses.
It's actually kind of sad that you kicked that person out of your squad, instead of looking for more people to join.

Or you could've let him stay and got yourself a healer. Even if he can't do it by himself, he shouldn't need to, that's what squads are supposed to be for. For everyone to help each other and get the cave done. Sounds to me that you just wanted a high level to solo the whole cave out for you, and got mad at him for no good reason at all. When I wc for help, I take everyone who is willing to help me. Instead of insulting them in normal chat for having the audacity to want to help me out even if they can't solo the whole thing.
Anyway, if you want high level help I suggest WC this for people who aren't paying attention. "LF high level help for BH39, please." Otherwise pretty much everyone will want to help you. People like helping with lowbie bhs when they are bored.0 -
You asked for HELP, not someone to SOLO it for you.
So people that also need it get the impression that you are forming a squad to kill him tougether.

The OP doesn't understand how the game works.
to the OP:
The classes are designed to complement each other
Obviously clerics heal. Barbs tank - and hold aggro.
So when you get a BH, what you need to do is to start to put toegther a squad of people of mixed classes.
The obvious setup is Cleric, Barb + 2-3 damage dealers (Sin, wizard/psychic, archer)
But you might end up with a Mystic to heal and support, a Veno or Seeker to tank. I've run squads with one Mystic and 3 Seekers - we sorted it out so one person did debuffs, the others DD etc.
If you ask for help with a BH, someone will answer. If they don't have a squad, normally you squad up and carry on asking until you have a team that can do the job.
I find it much more fun to run a BH with a team of people about my own level that just follow a lvl100+ who splats everything.0 -

That's not a lack of understanding how the game works, that's a lack of social mechanics and expecting the high-levels to cater to him rather than form a normal squad.

Usually when seeking for help is that the other player HELPS, by KILLING the boss. *Help* doesn't always mean as you see it. And of course I write that someone who can read because this have happened to me millions of times where player thinks that I am helping, tho its me who seeks for help. What is the difference of *help* and *someone soloing the boss for me* its the same thing. If someone is solo killing the boss for me, its helping me. And of course I always give some reward if asked. Some players just want to see *thank you* from me.0

Usually when seeking for help is that the other player HELPS, by KILLING the boss. No, that's not the norm in this game, that's just being lazy. And if you wanted that kind of help, you should have stated that by saying "Looking for HIGH LV to solo boss for me."
*Help* doesn't always mean as you see it. Fair enough.

What is the difference of *help* and *someone soloing the boss for me* its the same thing. No, again, "help" means that you need assistance, that you will do some work but just need additional help. Soloing the boss for me means... what it says, I can't do it, I need someone to do it for me.
If someone is solo killing the boss for me, its helping me. Mmmm, ok.
And of course I always give some reward if asked. You didn't say that before.
Some players just want to see *thank you* from me. LAWL.

It might just be my server, but nobody helps with BHs anymore -- even if they're bored. They would rather sit in South in front of the Banker and switch their fashion back and forth. Anywho..OP, I think you should have just continued looking for more people to join you instead of kicking him out. Don't jump the gun or else people won't help you at all, lol.0

I just say my own opinion. If I ask for help and someone invites me to squad where is 1 Cleric 99lvl and 1 Barb 100lvl, I don't think they need any help from me in the mission.
All people in PWI don't have to see things in your way.0 -

*help* = work together.
if u'r a Cleric, u heal; if u'r a tanker, u tank; if u'r a DD, u deal damage.
same with the other party members, so all members pay their contribution to the work.
*someone soloing the boss for me* = that someone works alone and u just stand in the back doing nothing waiting for the number on your quest log changed from 0/1 to 1/1 & then u say "thank you".[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

@Krisnda I was specific enough -.- I said in normal chat that I need help with this BH and then the player just says I can. When in squad already I asked that is he able to kill boss, and then he said that he thought I am helping people. He didn't read the part where I said *I need* And what is this all about that mod starts to laugh at me? Very great.0

Saying 'I can help', could also mean 'I can help you DD/heal/tank, while we are in a squad killing the thing tougether'

And to make things short. For ME when I ask for *HELP* it means that people help me. If someone else asks for help and I reply to it, then it means that I *HELP* that people. Theres nothing much for me to do if I have already couple of 100lvl ppl helping me. It would be a different thing if my squad would have at range of my levels. Get that into your brains please. I see things differently. And mod, please close this topic now, because I have reeeeelly short temper and if someone would now reply here something wrong, things would turn out to be ugly. Just please. Peoples stupidness just makes me so angry.0

A mod should be more humble, even if you don't agree with some view of thinking, it should never go like that. Just explain usually it doesn't go like that without the LAWL and L.o.l.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

You gotta understand OP this is the norm. When you say help, people generally think that you are attempting to do it yourself but need assistance in doing so, like a normal BH squad. Bounty Hunter is a daily quest tons of people need as opposed to a one off culti, so it works much differently. If you want someone to give you the charity/handout of doing all the work for you, then say so. Otherwise you are always going to get people that want to help you do the boss together, not do all your things for you. If you want to use a definition of help that is outside the norm, it is up to you to clarify. Not other people to read your mind and know what you mean. I mean BH doesn't necessarily always mean bounty hunter either, but anyone in-game will assume that is what you mean for example.0 -

People don't know what in the world you "mean" when you say things in chat, especially in a MMO, where certain sayings mean "SPECIFIC things. We have no idea what you mean, so when you say stuff, be specific, don't just say "NEED HELP!" and expect people to know "oh he means he wants a lv 100x to solo for him"
That's the only stupid thing here.

You gotta adapt to the culture you're in. MMOs have different ways of doing things and if you don't learn to speak the lingo you're going to find yourself constantly frustrated. And people are not going to want to help you because they'll perceive your refusal to phrase things in a way people can understand here, as a bad attitude. Help doesn't mean have a high level do everything for me. In fact, you will NEVER be able to play all of the content of this game without learning what to do in an at level squad. Even people with gear that can solo most htings, cannot solo everything.
They thought you were going to kill the boss. Because most people at that level are going to kill the boss. And they need help doing so. One person heals, the other person takes the damage, and the damage dealers make the whole run go much, much faster. That's the way BH is supposed to work. You guys team up and help each other complete it.0 -

There's a huge difference between "help" where you assist someone in doing something and "doing all the work for the other guy who stands back and does nothing".verb (used with object)

What you want isn't "help" in the slightest, so you shouldn't get self-righteous when people who DO know what help means attempt to do so.0 -
