TW Changes its time.

No offence to anybody who lives in the USA, since it might now be easier for you all.

But i find this ridiculous. I found the normal time to be perfectly fine. Friday, saturday and sundays.

This has greatly impacted people who live in Europe, Asia (maybe), and Australia.
Meaning we are either a day behind or infront.

Half of these people have to work on when TW happens, since the new times have collided very badly with these countrys that are affected.

I'm an Austrlaian meaning im a head about a day. So TWs for me are Sat, sun and mon. now its gone to sundays-mondays and tuesdays...

Not sure if others feel the same way as me..

So feel free to say what you like.

(i'm not raging i just find it more difficult for me to attend my factions TW, since now im never going to be able to attend at all...)

    just makes it less likely for anyone on a swing shift to attend also, was enough of a pain in the *** before.

    surprisingly weird yes. If at all id think friday pple would have a easier time getting off from work or school than a monday.

    I just find it odd though, my start up screen is in GERMAN

    Sat 8pm, Sat 2pm, Sun 2pm, Sat 8am, Mon 2pm.

    I dont see the issue as the Mon time is the last time that would be used IF that many TWs ever ended up happening. The only time that has changed is that instead of an 8PM server Friday night is now a 2PM server Monday afternoon. which is a pain for Americans still in work or school but its 11pm Monday night Euro and 2AM Tues morning Asia. But again it would be the last time slot used IF needed. When was the last time a Sunday afternoon slot was used in TW besides at map reset? As that is the time slot it is now taking. Also I can see the 2Pm Sun afternoon server being a slight pain for Euros as it would be 11Pm at night Sunday night and 5Am Asia Monday morning... , but that time slot has always existed, though rarely used, it now has the 3rd time slot. Its no different then the Euos that wake up at 5am on Sat or Sun now to TW. And Sanctuary is a West Coast USA server... so you have to take the good with the bad when you join a US server.

    Yeah. 20x20 or 80x80? No-brainer for me. Also, TW has the whole point of someone being a faction leader, recruiting people with similar ways of thinking/acting and people making friends in faction during the whole time.

    This new system looks like a thing "led" by an NPC and without any incentive for people to gather and know each other. Gotta give it a try to be sure, but yeah, 80x80 against highly selective factions is pretty much the best of PWI as it is.

    The main problem, I think, is that a lot of people got their families/friends on weekends, even for americans. The 2pm time slots are just terrible for everybody, still too late for EU(Least for the ones on west servers) and too early for NA. I dont like Monday slot either, people got work the next day, though that was true for old sunday night slot too. I dont think this change benefits anybody but hardcore gamers who wont have to worry bout rl stuff on weekends, though work/school might affect EU ones.

    Hmm the time doesn't seem too bad for me. If anything, it's actually slightly better for me if the TW happens at 2pm server time. Other than that it's still the same 6am in the morning for me.

    I wasn't able to attend TWs to begin with so it doesn't matter to me either way but I can understand if it messes up the time for Asians and other people. However, I'd rather wait and see the actual impact the new times will have on the server instead of making assumptions and theories.

    These new times.....are horrible, people with southern hemisphere(mainly) time zones are outstruck with this, seeming we can not attend sunday TW'S, let alone monday seeming sunday server time is monday, and monday server time would be tuesday, what was wrong with the old TW times might I ask? I can now only possibly attend one damn TW a week.b:angry

    Northern/Southern hemispheres don't have time zone changes. The more north/south doesn't affect that.

    If you mean eastern/western hemispheres, then that's understandable. But the change was to accommodate the new server-wide wars feature.

    I'm pretty sure this is trolling the new crop of threads about how the time changes affect European/Asian/etc (basically everyone outside of the Americas) in such a negative way.

    In case no one noticed that half of the big factions are euro this sucks for themb:surrender
    And monday tw even NA player cant prob make this time put it back to old time.

    prime time tw was always saturday

    "saturday" = 2am sunday morning
    that was ok
    i was never able to attend sunday tw since it was on monday morning

    that means now i can only go to the old "friday" tw since its now on saturday spot



    personally friday was the best time for me
    since there is more to on saturday night

    Im from germany. The nation wars will be around 2-3 am for me.
    I was looking forward to this but I most likely wont even be able to take part.

    Are you kidding me? How the *** does it suck for European players to have TWs at 8pm instead of 2am? Just lol....the time at which TWs will be now is the standard raiding time in main stream mmorpg and in the case of pwi we only have to attend 1-3events instead of 6 or 7 per week, so I don't see a problem, it's just whiny noobs in pwi that want everything on a silver plate.
