updates in german while game updating??

I had the avg issue on my first attempt to update and have disabled antivirus while the update is going on, however now the news slideshow is in german. Does this mean I'm downloading german version? Should I stop and just redownload full game? Or will this sort itself out once update is finished? I auto update all the time btw, have never ever used manual patching.

    It's doing it for me too. So at least your not the only one. I shouldnt think it'll affect the game once download is complete

    what the files are named as they flash by on the bottom of the launcher doesn't matter. They may be language packs, since this update will go live to the EU servers as well, and they use different clients based on their language of choice.

    My client is up and running and the server names are in english, that's a good sign.

    im having to re-install the client, avg tossed it in virus vault and wouldnt let me start PWI at all :/ i'll try disabling AVG to patch when its done installing..i hope it'll work then..i was at 96% of lvl..kinda wanted to finish that >.>

    Add PWI folders in your anti-virus exception list to avoid mess up like this in near future.

    that happen to me too, luckily i have a copy of pwi on an external hardrive and disabled avg to update that. Am currently updating client on ext drive and redownloading full game to pc b:surrender

    Thank you for quick replies, is good to know I'm not the only one with this problem :)

    Was in german during patching and continues to be in german after update for me. I don't mind really. They should be able to fix it rather quickly.
