The way to G16

So, this is something that's bugged me for a while. ☆Dragonslayer, Annihilation is a TT99 gold weapon that doesn't bind upon use. However, it becomes a TT G13 weapon, which, on theory, should bind when equipped. My question is: do the nirvana weapons made with that bind upon use, breaking the unwritten rule for nirvana that "if it binds upon use, it remains like that, and if it doesn't, it remains like that too" or do they (sounds more logical to me) bind when equipped, making it so that "all nirvana derived from TT weapons bind, while all the ones derived from lunar don't"?

Asking this on the seeker's forums because seekers are more likely to have gone through the process of making nirvana swords.

The answer to this is relevant because it'll probably change my making of G16 on my seeker when I hit 100.

Thanks. b:thanks

I use G16 Astral Ballad made from Dragonslayer: Annihilation. They are not bound. This is the least expensive route to get unbound G16 Duals.

I just made my dragon seekers into dragonslayer then turned them to astral g13 sword. They don't bind which I was thrilled about that and the 2 sockets I got when I made it lol.

I like single sword cuz of more balance damage and quicker attack. Blade hits harder but has lower base damage. Dual swords is the same way but lower atk speed. Most people like dual for hopes in landing a critical and 1 shot ^_^

I just don't like to rely on luck lol.

That's not why people like dual swords/blades, lol.

Dual swords/blades have higher base damage than single swords/blades, meaning they hit harder. Single swords have lower base damage but a faster attack speed, so before int gear they both average out to the same damage since one hits harder but slower, the other hits weaker but faster. After -int the single swords have higher dps when melee attacking, but we're a skill based class and when using skills the dual swords/blade give a higher attack.

The difference between blade and sword is a wider range of damage. Swords are more consistant for a narrow range of damage (lets say 8-12, average 10) while blades have a larger range of damage (lets say 4-16, average 10) so you'll get both higher and lower attacks. Really it doesn't matter since the average is the same, but blades are nice if you like seeing really high spike numbers. Also, Blades have a slight edge in pvp where a high spike or crit attack can jump a charm, rather than just tick it.
