veno pet exp level 100 and above, seriously need revamp

Hi all, this is getting tiring. I spent Weeks going to theater of blood to level my nix (I know there are other options, but 30 mins everyday for one level is good enough for me)

Finally, I got my nix to level 100. Guess Wat?

TNL exp for a 100 level nix is 100,000. b:cry

I spent days in cube room 4 just to get my herc to 101. Guess again...

500,000 exp just to get it to 102.b:surrender

It was 3,000 to 4,000 exp at level 99, why the sudden jump?? If they revamped pet exp before, they should do it for 100 and above too. Why not?

I can already imagine at level 105, my pet is still 101.

    b:question They revamped pet exp before? It's always been 15xp per kill with the correct amount of loyalty and killing mobs the same level or above the pet's level for me. And my second ever character was a veno.

    I'm hoping for a revamp in this upcoming expansion.

    I know that pain...
    I spent my time in 3rd Chrono Map to get my Hercules to 101 and my Kowlin was close to 101 as well but then I tamed the Derjan's Hatchling so ever since then I stopped using the Kowlin and I usually use the cactus pet for pulling.

    I'm currently in the process of leveling Hercules and Derjan's to 102 >.> I try to spend an hour every day in VOS though sometimes I skip it since college limits my playtime. I might as well make Kowlin hit 101 since it's very close to leveling. I also have a few pets that need leveling and are behind...

    I do hope the upcoming expansion will revamp the pet exp and improve the pet system as a whole but it hasn't been out in PWCN as far as I know so no news on it.

    I'm very very tempted to reply "Level up properly" rather than powerlevelling and hypering and goodness knows what else.

    All the way to 100, and five pets happily level 100 along with me. (The fish is lagging behind a bit)

    But; you do have a valid point about level 101+ I'm 30% xp and my pets are roughly 4%.

    New expansion allegedly contains some pet system improvement; but it's not in the upcoming expansion stuff, it's coming later. Which is a shame.

    We do get the yummy skill improvements - which is going to make it very very difficult to not steal aggro.

    Ah well, keeping hopes up.

    I got to level 98 before zhening was invented, and stop playing for two years. I leveled through cube, world quest and questing even till now. (haven't entered FCC solo since two years back)

    hence, I foresee my pet's growth will be seriously lagging behind as more of us gets to 105. (even by the normal way)b:sad

    But yeah, as others have said, the pet EXP from 101 onwards gets... steep. And with the pets being stuck at 15 exp per kill max within a... 10 or so (I haven't needed to level my pets off anything too low in a while so I've forgotten) level range... it can get pretty ridiculous. Hopefully the pet EXP system gets a major revamp that deals with this issue.

    Agreed; 33K mobs is a bit too much to ask, especially when you can't cube level a nix in cube

    and even in cube it's ridiculous given how spread out the stones are.

    Maybe they can double the number in there and make them travel closer? That way I can abuse Tangling Mire aggro-Earthquake-rinse & repeat
