Guild leader deleted?

what were to happen if my friend deleted his character who is leader of a lvl 2 guild? Would the guild get disbanded? Leader passed down to Director? Please help...b:pleased

    I've seen others do it before (long ago in the past) and it usually goes down to the Director of your guild.....

    But if you end up with a faction that has no one in the directors spot, then who knows what would happen.....b:question

    Dang, now I'm gonna wonder about that part??? I wonder what would happen if all ya had was Marshals or Lieutenents to inherit the lead spot after the old leaders deletion...

    The question is, is it even possible to delete that char? o_o I know it isn't with marriages.

    But I remember hearing deleted characters stay in faction, so err your faction would be lost since your leader can't be changed ever unless a GM does it.

    Deleted chars don't stay in the faction, Once the 7days are up(or however long it takes to fully delete) and they are still in a faction then they automaticly leave the faction.

    Yeah. If you ever in a faction and suddenly people you NEVER seen online just leave one day.. that would be why.

    Now for a curious question...

    I have one toon that was the sole member/leader of a faction. I am currently deleting the toon, so once it's gone, the faction is essentially gone as well.

    But what happens to the faction name.... can it be rerused, or is do faction names work the same way as character names in the uniquenamedatabase?

    If your factions a {level~1 faction} it'll likely just delete, and then you or someone else can possibly eventually use its name again, on any of the servers which share its database registry...

    {Level 2 or 3} Guild will not go away from the official guild registries & will never be able too have their names reused on any shared database servers, unless someone on the customer service staff for {PWi} somehow have both the power and desire too fully delete it from the registry......b:thanks

    If you don't have a faction leader after it being deleted send in a ticket and hope they fix it for you :)

    also you can just ask your faction leader make you director and then he abdicates and the person under him takes over as leader.
