Hello,
My seeker is at 5k prestige, so I am viable to get the G15 Morai sword.
I heard many people say that it "hits really hard", but haven't really seen the damage in action.
Can someone who actually has the sword, or knows how much it actually hits compared to R8 and R9 sword give me a comparison?
It certainly looks promising, but do not want to waste 17mil.
Thanks all.

If you look at the damages of Morai G15 and R8, you can see that their minimum damage is about the same, but R8 has about 200 more maximum damage.

    Morai: 831-1124
    R8: 853-1315

With this, R8 will be accompanied by other damage increasing additions.
Morai, however, has +60 Slaying levels and can attain a variety of different additional stats.

I've heard that Morai G15 is comparable to the R9 sword alone, without the set bonus (In PvE, of course).

My own experience; I've never had R8, and I've recently attained the Morai swords. I refined them to +2 and added a perfect garnet (Plan to increase to at least +5 when I get more money). The additional stats I got on it are Strength +18, Strength +19, and Maximum physical attack +106.

I was just damage testing on those level 1 mobs found in some cities so I could reply to this thread. :P
My Gemini Slash hit them for over 30k every hit, unbuffed with only 30 attack levels from Jones' Blessing.

So, in my opinion, Morai G15 is comparable to R8 in PvP (Advantage here may sway, depending on the additional stats you get) and is better than R8 in PvE, although I haven't used R8 or seen the damage from it.

Hope this helps a little. :)

For PvE its the best budget weapon. I had R8 +8 (2 perfect garnet), and now Morai G15 +10 (1 exclusive garnet). The damage is approximately 60%-70% more in comparison to R8 while using jones blessings.

R8 on +8 has 1191-1653 attack while G15 has 1410-1703 attack on +10, but still damage is almost 60% to 70% more on auto attacks as well as skills.

Be sure to roll it 4-5 times to get good stats.

If you are mainly, PvE, yes. Hands down, these are exceptional swords for a good PvE experience. Seekers are lucky in this instance. The 17mil will definitely not be a waste as the g15 Morai can serve as very good endgame PvE swords. I have these on my Seeker and love the damage output from them.
Granted if you plan on heavy PvP, g16 (either Nirvana or rank9) would be the way to go in the end.

Be sure to roll it 4-5 times to get good stats.
Do better than this. Morai gear is stupid cheap to reroll, thus cheap to max on stats.

-Reroll them using the 45 emblems method disregarding stats until you get 2 socket.

-switch to using the 60 emblem method to reroll (different NPC, same one you buy them from), thus keeping the 2-sockets for future rolls. Reroll until you get plus damage stats (+str, +max atk, etc) in at least 2 slots to truly maximize the damage potential from them.

    I did this and now have 2 sockets, Str+19, str+18 and vit+19.

    To translate it all:

If you are a PvE player, YES you should get it.
If you also do PvP on the side, I'd say still get it. G15 morai hits about as hard as R8 in PvP, and it has better ad-on stats like str, vit, stuf like that (after you are finished rerolling)
