Gear Macro Please.

Enough said, i have enough a trouble switching to aps sometimes to fight soem classes, and im not OP, so i dont rely on one piece of gear, a gear macro would be beautiful for those times i need Defense/Attack.

Thats my opinion anyways.

    Is the gear on hot key?

    I would like a gear macro to, before everyone starts bashing this.

    Imagine a macro for triple spark>cloud eruption>hf>fist>attack>repeat. Imagine the mouse life we save and the fewer keyboard keys that break. This will help mother nature in the long run b:victory.

    It is a good idea, but current macros are bugged, most sins skill skip or stop in a macro for me. Archer macro rarely messes up. I gave up on bm macro, can't leave it to chance to do hf properly timed. In trials though, i use an aoe macro for mobs, beats pressing 3~8 keys in a cycle.

    If you have a macro that works, have drake sweep followed by cyclone heel, you can switch you fists in and macro won't break.

    I like being a pure clicker for skills, but im afraid gear changing during duels / TW puts me in a huge time waste i just cant stand.... if a mod could check this out and suggest it, it'd be awesome, why is there auto pot and no gear change?


    BMs need equality too!

    I'd like this to be implemented as well. Right now I swap out four different pieces of gear with hotkeys when I want to switch from aps to tank. Not to mention four different weapons. Would be nice if I could switch all the aps gear on when I hit the claw hotkey.

    This was in 1 other game I played, 2 pages in character screen for gear, switch which you want though only minus was the gear could not be used the same, meaning you would have to use completely different sets made from 0, the idea is there just make it so you can basically copy/paste the existing gear with a possibility to add different pieces.

    I support this mainly because of the current amount of hotkey slots we have in our bars. There just simply isn't enough for all gear swaps.

    If you have just one other set of gear of chest, legs, boots, bracers, necklace, and belt to switch back and forth between your current set, that already requires 12 hotkey slots. On top of that, mostly everyone has more than one weapon they mainly use, which takes up even more spots.

    On top of skills, apoth, and genies, I never have enough space on my bars b:sad

    This sounds like a good idea, and should be easy to do. We already have this option for fashion, where you press one button and you can change your entire outfit (you can even time it so it changes automatically). So maybe along with a fashion wardrobe add one for gear/equipment. It could be set up the same way the fashion is were you just move the items into the wardrobe then place the pieces you want for each change. Then you'd just need to press the one button and everything changes and puts the equipment you were wearing back in your gear/equipment wardrobe. Plus by having it in a separate wardrobe it would not be taking up space in your inventory. Just a thought.

    Now that I think about it, it should be VERY easy to implement. They already have a similar feature in the game, which is the fashion set hotkeys. People can swap out whole fashion sets with another at a click of a button.

    Just translate that to gear and we'll be good to go!

    I've posted this same thing in the suggestion forums a while back (a long while back. Didn't know the suggestion forums was PWI's "out" trash bin.)

    Macros don't allow instant skills. A weapon swap is instant. So would you also recommend making instant skill (ie bestial rage, Diamond Sutra, Essential Sutra, Blade Affinity) macroable? Just curious.

    I have almost 2 full bars (I use all 7 rows) worth of gear hotkeyed for weapon swapping. One of the most annoying things in the entire game is clicking and seeing it didn't switch so you click again and it equips then unequips without you realizing.

    My problem is that skills in the macro that are not instant skip on their own. Especially if i click macro on one toon, and switch to the other. There might be a rib strike but no sub sea, a sub sea but no rib strike. Makes it fairly annoying.

    I see where you guys are coming from, and yeah I guess I got a little mistaken with the word "Macro" rather than the word auto-switch.

    I as well have all the gear on the bars but I'd still love switching from aps gear to tank/ axe gear to ensure I have the maximum attack/ defense at the proper situation.

    This can apply to all classes really, but blademasters (assassins if they wan to switch to their non-int gear, or really any int/ channeling class) usually have this issue that consumes precious time that can be used for better timing or a strategy.

    I'm interested in something like, how my fellow players said before, an auto switch kind of like the fashion switch button.

    I of course would still have different weapons on my skill bar, but this would really only affect gear rather than weapon.

    As for saku's question about auto-skill.

    I think if we could make gear "sets" like we can for fashion in our wardrobe, that would be awesome. To have a button for different situations. Instead of having a button for each piece of gear to swap in and out.

    Want to get a set of better def gear for my wiz but right now I'm not bothering knowing I'd never use it without something like a gear macro. This is a great idea.
